Inside Deluxe Studio Rooms at Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Resort

Disney’s Polynesian Resort Island Tower is the new addition coming to Walt Disney World’s Polynesian Resort this week and features many different room options including these Deluxe Studio rooms!

Renting Disney Vacation Club points to stay at deluxe resorts at Walt Disney World is one of my favorite money saving hacks. You do not have to be a Disney Vacation Club owner to rent these rooms which means this room type is available for all guests, not just DVC members!

The Deluxe Studio rooms are going to be more affordable than the other luxury room options but still more spacious than the Duo Studio rooms. Let’s take a tour of the Deluxe Studio rooms at the new Island Tower!

The Deluxe Studio rooms feature two beds and if you look above the murphy bed you can see a beautiful mural inspired by Moana.

The Deluxe Studio rooms are going to be the most popular with families as they are still far more affordable than the larger room options at the Island Tower but offer more space than the Duo Studio rooms.

Across from the beds is a cool sitting nook, area to put your suitcase and dresser. I love the design of this little table nook, such a great way to make use of the space.

The Deluxe Studio has features a small kitchenette area which is great for families that want to save money and buy groceries for Walt Disney World.

The bathroom is pretty spacious with plenty of counter space.

There is no bathtub but this is becoming more common with newer hotel designs. This room is a perfect size and is a great choice for families that want to experience the new Island Tower.

Poly Tower Disney World

The Island Tower is the new addition to the popular Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows resort at Walt Disney World. This Magic Kingdom area resort has beautiful waterfront views and design elements inspired by the South Pacific islands. The 10-story tower’s architecture was inspired by early concept art of the Polynesian Resort from Walt Disney Imagineering.

This new Island Tower also aligns with Disney’s 2030 environmental goals by using 30 percent less energy by using 30 percent less energy than comparable resorts and will include the first-all electric kitchen on Walt Disney World Resort property in the tower’s restaurant. The rugs in the guest rooms are even made from recycled plastic!

The tower offers a variety of room types that can sleep two to nine guests including duo studios, deluxe studio rooms, one bedroom and two bedroom villas, and two bedroom penthouse villas. The new Island Tower opens December 17th 2024.
