Lamplight Lounge, one of our favorite Disneyland restaurants, is home to one of the best dining experiences at the resort. It offers Pixar-themed decor, a great outdoor patio overlooking the water, and standout food items like the famous Lobster Nachos. We recently shared how you can enjoy a unique perspective on the nighttime spectacular World of Color from this location!

The drink offerings are a highlight at Lamplight Lounge, with fun cocktails that have names inspired by filmmaking and specialty brunch beverages like the popular Cinnamon Toast Cocktail. However, even beyond the great selection of drinks that are normally available, there is a Lamplight Lounge secret menu that guests can enjoy—with one offering inspired by an iconic Disneyland dessert!

Boozy Lamplight Lounge Dole Whip Drink

Dole Whip is one of the most beloved treats at Disney Parks and easily makes our list of the best Disneyland desserts. It's tangy, creamy, and sweet, and it never gets old no matter how many times you enjoy it! That's why many guests are thrilled to hear that this Lamplight Lounge secret menu item takes the dessert to the next level…by adding alcohol!

A popular secret menu offering at the Lamplight Lounge, the Dole Whip shot, contains coconut rum, vanilla vodka or absolut citron, pineapple juice, and whipped cream. This is a much larger shot than what you'd normally see and is not offered on the regular menu. You can also order it as the Dole Whip cocktail, which is what we recently enjoyed—this version has the same ingredients but is served over ice so you can savor it for a bit longer. The cocktail version of the drink is $2 more than the shot.

Cocktail prices at Lamplight Lounge range from $17-$20.

Enjoying his classic Disney dessert in boozy liquid form feels like a dream come true for many fans, and the experience is further elevated by the great atmosphere of Lamplight Lounge. We tried the Lamplight Lounge Dole Whip drink in cocktail form on a recent visit. It is perfectly sweet just like a Dole Whip and tastes like a pina colada drink. The mix of pineapple and coconut are a perfect refreshing sip after a long day at the parks.

I also loved the fresh pineapple slice included on the rim of the glass. What you can't tell from the photos is that the drink is also kind of foamy and has volume to it in a way similar to a standard Dole Whip.

The Dole Whip shot is not the only secret menu drink offered at Lamplight Lounge! During our visit, our waiter recommended looking up the secret Cove Bar menu to discover other fun secret drinks. Many of these drinks remain left over from the previous iteration of the restaurant where there was the Cove Bar and the Little Mermaid-themed character meet and greet below.
