Disneyland offers some of the best dessert options with many of these being fan favorites amongst Disney locals. Disneyland is known for having some of the most iconic Disneyland restaurants and theme park dining with a full list of options for both Disneyland and California Adventure. Most of the best Disneyland desserts include many of the most iconic treats known to Disneyland including the famous Dole Whip. Let's rank all the best Disneyland desserts, we've tried them all! Dole Whips can be found at Tiki Juice Bar and Tropical Hideaway in Adventureland near the Enchanted Tiki Room. Dole Whips are pineapple soft serve and are easily the most famous and iconic best Disneyland dessert. You can also order a Dole Whip Float which is essentially Dole pineapple juice with Dole Whip soft serve.

You can only mobile order from the Tiki Juice Bar so be prepared to use your Disneyland app to get your treats. If you want to skip mobile ordering, head over to The Tropical Hideaway which is in-person ordering only. The best way to enjoy a Dole Whip for the first time is to enjoy it while experiencing The Enchanted Tiki Room, there's a reason these locations go hand in hand.

See our full guide to Disneyland Dole Whip for where to find this iconic treat and all the flavors that are available!

Disneyland Churros

The other most iconic best Disneyland dessert item is the Disneyland churro! Disneyland churros are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, nothing can compete with how delicious the Disneyland churros are. Even if you have tried churros at county fairs or even Costco, these are on a whole different level.

The standard is the cinnamon churro but you can also find seasonal churros around the parks to celebrate Halloween at Disneyland or Christmas at Disneyland. Multiple churro carts can be found at both Disneyland and California Adventure.

Mickey Beignet

Mickey beignets are another best Disneyland dessert both due to their taste and their iconic Mickey shape. Everything tastes better when it is shaped like Mickey! These beignets are made from Mickey-shaped pieces of dough and then are deep fried before being covered in confectioners sugar.

Mickey beignets can be found at the Mint Julep Bar behind the recently-opened restaurant Tiana’s Palace.

Harbour Galley Chocolate Chip Cookies

One of the best desserts at Disneyland is the viral Harbour Galley chocolate chip cookies! These very much deserve the hype surrounding them, as they are gooey, soft, and the perfect size. See our review of these fan-favorite chocolate chip cookies here.

The fresh-baked cookies come in a 6-pack or a 13-pack, making them ideal for sharing! You can also get them with a side of cookie butter whipped topping.

Jack-Jack Cookie Num Nums are large chocolate chip cookies served like a mini pie right out of the oven. These cookies are soft and melted so they taste like cookies fresh out of the oven. There is also a gluten-free shortbread cookie available.

You can find these at the stand right next to the entrance of Incredicoaster in California Adventure themed after the Incredibles movies. This is a great place to sit and enjoy a cookie if you're waiting for family to get off the Incredicoaster. Make sure to get your own, no one will want to share this best Disneyland dessert.

Another standout Disneyland dessert is the seasonal shake that is offered at Smokejumpers Grill! There have been some unique flavors here that rotate with the season, including a Caramel Crispy Churro Shake during the holiday celebration, a Raspberry Cheesecake Shake, and a Maple Bacon shake. A particularly popular flavor was the Raspberry Cheesecake shake offered here (pictured above)!

We always enjoy these seasonal shakes at Smokejumpers Grill and they are a great Disneyland dessert option.

Clarabelle's Handscooped Ice Cream is the nostalgic ice cream stop located on Buena Vista Street at California Adventure. The Mickey Mouse Kitchen Sink is a great item to share with family as it's so large plus you can keep the souvenir kitchen sink afterward.

This is one of the most Instagram-worthy Disney ice cream treats but we also love it for the souvenir kitchen sink you can keep! We may have a few of these kitchen sinks floating around our house. This is one of our favorite best Disneyland desserts.

Mickey Gingerbread

One of our favorite Disneyland treats is the Mickey Gingerbread cookie. This iconic Disneyland dessert is soft with a rich, delicious gingerbread flavor and is decorated with icing. During Christmas at Disneyland, you can enjoy it at Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe and the Grand Californian Great Hall Cart. You'll also find some variations on the fan-favorite Mickey Gingerbread during other times of the year like this cute Halloween gingerbread Mickey pictured above!

Baymax Macaron

Baymax Macaron

With the debut of San Fransokyo Square, a new macaron was introduced to Disney California Adventure that makes our list of the best Disneyland desserts. This adorable Baymax Macaron is offered at Lucky Fortune Cookery in Disney California Adventure.

The treat is decorated as the beloved character and is filled with a chocolate-hazelnut spread and buttercream! This macaron is a pretty decent size and a great addition to Disney California Adventure's dessert offerings.

Galaxy Parfait

The Galaxy Parfait is a really cute offering from Galactic Grill that has been available seasonally. The parfait has layers of chocolate cake, raspberry jam, and blue-colored cheesecake, topped with a purple glaze, edible silver stars, and a round chocolate shell.

This beautiful Disneyland dessert is almost as much fun to look at as it is to eat! The Galaxy Parfait has a lot of variety in its multiple layers and textures, and it's super satisfying without being overly sweet.

Throughout the year, Galactic Grill will often rotate its parfait offerings with the different seasonal celebrations.

Gibson Girl will also feature any seasonal sundaes that may be offered for the holidays or Disneyland celebrations.

Our favorite treats at the Gibson Girl include the Mickey Mouse Ear Hat Bowl Sundae, Firehouse Dalmatian Mint Sundae. This is the classic spot on Main Street to grab ice cream so this is a must-do!

Is this the best dessert at Disneyland?

Unfortunately this dessert that we previously called the best dessert offered in Disneyland is not being served as of the our most recent check on the the Hearthstone Menu. Trust me, we will be checking back hoping that changes soon.

While dining at the Hearthstone Lounge at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, Gavin Doyle the founder of Mickey Visit discovered a dessert that was out of this world. The Chocolate Molten Cake comes with Almond Brittle, Chantilly Cream, and Warm Chocolate Fudge Sauce. The cake was fresh, warm, and delicious. Gavin also ordered the cake with a side of ice cream and three massive scoops of creamy vanilla ice cream were delivered.

This might be the most upscale, yet simple, dessert we have ever enjoyed at Disneyland. Definitely a contender for best Disneyland dessert and one that is far off the beaten classic.
