While Disneyland has a variety of plant-based options around the resort, it's sometimes a little tricky to find them because you have to look at each location's menu individually.

Sara commented on this, “I wish Disney had an easy way to filter to find all plant-based menu options from the various vegan restaurant options, but it’s just a time-consuming process. Which is why I wanted to put this post together, to help people minimize that time they were spending.” Once you are within the menus for the various restaurants there are plant-based options listed for each location but there's no overall filter for all menu item types. This is now our running list of the best vegan options for you to try during your trip.

Let's dive into the top vegan foods you'll find at Disneyland by category…

Corn Ribs Plate at Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree

Corn Ribs Plate at Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree

In our first category, we will cover the best vegan meals you'll find at Disneyland at both quick-service and table-service locations.

The Corn Ribs Plate is a standout at the quick-service Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree, the reimagined version of Hungry Bear Restaurant that recently reopened in Bayou Country. With its reimagining, it debuted a brand new menu that we were really impressed by. You can see our full review of what we tried at Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree.

The Corn Ribs Plate at Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree includes chile-lime aïoli, parmesan, crispy onions, cilantro and scallions, with coleslaw and beer-battered fries. We think the beer-battered fries in particular are some of the best you'll find at Disneyland, and we also really enjoyed the coleslaw when we tried it.

  1. Hello
I’m curious to know if all of these items you are listed with American, nacho, or parmesan cheese are plant based cheeses.
Also, coleslaw most often has mayo. Are these options listed vegan or vegetarian? As at times people are confused.
Vegans do not anything made from animal milk or animal preservatives. For example l, the beer batter led fries and most of the fries are not vegan as they are fried in a fryer where meat and animal products are fried.
Also if they use egg in the batter that they’re not vegan.

I agree it’s cool to have a list. Thanks for the effort. I just wanted to check ensure all the products including condiments are plant based .
    Warm regards

    • Hi, Tasha. I’m Sara, the one who provided all these photos and content. ☺️ Everything shown here is 100% plant based! Often, when Disney flags an item as plant-based, they still use non-plant terms to describe the ingredients. They define their plant-based options as made without animal meat, dairy, eggs, or honey. All of these came from their plant-based menus. As far as the fryer is concerned, shared fryers are very common for restaurants that serve animal products but also offer vegan options so those of us who are vegan can eat there as well. If you’re a vegan that is not okay with shared grills/fryers, you would need to talk to the staff to find out if it’s possible, but understand that they’re not a vegan restaurant, so be kind to them if they say no and be grateful they are giving us options in the first place. ☺️ I personally appreciate the effort. And while it’s not ideal to use shared equipment, I know my patronage is specifically for the plant-based products, so I feel good about my decision.
