There is no shortage of great Disneyland foods across the resort, including popular choices and lesser-known items that you may have overlooked. However, some may not know that at certain Disneyland restaurants, there are some “secret” items you can get that do not appear on the main menu.
On a recent trip, we embarked on a quest to find some of the Disneyland foods that have circulated online as “secret menu” items in the past to see if they are available at the parks.
Below, we will share all of the Disneyland secret menu items we found. We'll also call out some of the previous “secret menu” items that have now made their way onto the main menu but are unique offerings you may not have ever tried!

Disneyland Past Secret Menu Items
In past years, there were more Disneyland secret menu items at various restaurants, but many of these are no longer available. Many of these items were from pre-2018 when the introduction of mobile ordering changed the food scene at Disneyland.
While some secret menu items have not survived over the years, a few are still going strong and some new items have joined the mix. Other items which previously were “secret menu” have now made their way onto the menu permanently. Some menu items are not listed on the displays physically at the restaurant but are available on mobile order which mark these still as secret menu items for Disneyland.
Arguably the most well-known secret menu items currently at Disneyland, and what is mentioned first on our list, have been carried over from the previous iteration of the restaurant they are offered at…
Lamplight Lounge Drinks Secret Menu
Lamplight Lounge is our top Disneyland restaurant for a variety of reasons—its ambiance and waterfront views, its food, and its selection of fun drinks inspired by filmmaking. Some don't know that Lamplight Lounge actually has a secret drink menu with some really cool drinks, most of which are left over from its predecessor, the Cove Bar.
We were told when chatting with a Cast Member that the majority of these drinks are from the previous Cove Bar menu. This includes some popular choices like The Funwheel, Neverland Tea, the Sea Witch, the Zombie, etc.
Two newer secret menu options are the Dole Whip cocktail or shot (coconut rum, vanilla vodka or absolut citron, pineapple juice, and whipped cream) and the Mexican Candy drink (made with tequila, Combier peach, mango, lime, watermelon, and bitters). The exact ingredients in these drinks may slightly vary depending on the bartender.

Check out the Zombie at Lamplight Lounge above! This is a really cool-looking drink with green and red hues, and the raspberries are meant to resemble brains. This tasted somewhat like a Mai Tai in flavor. It turns a bit of a deeper shade of green when you stir it up.
Mexican Candy Drink Lamplight Lounge Secret Menu
The Mexican Candy drink had a little kick to it and was a nice balance of sweet and spicy. We had this one without alcohol—you can order the Mexican Candy or Dole Whip drink alcohol-free.
Fun Wheel Lamplight Lounge Secret Menu
We also saw one of the other secret menu drinks, the Fun Wheel, at the bar as it was being prepared. This one is popular and great for photos as it has these fun layers of color!
Dole Whip Drink Lamplight Lounge Secret Menu
We have previously reviewed the secret menu Dole Whip drink at Lamplight Lounge. Mickey Visit founder Gavin described in his review how the drink tasted like a pina colada and had a volume and foaminess to it that made it similar to a standard Dole Whip.
Dole Whip Shots Lamplight Lounge Secret Menu
You can order this secret menu boozy Dole Whip in either a shot format or as a cocktail over ice. The cocktail version of the drink is $2 more than the shot. To the left of the photo above, you can see the Dole Whip shots!
Lamplight Lounge Beef or Chicken Nachos
At Lamplight Lounge, one of the most famous offerings is the Lobster Nachos that come with black beans, aged cheddar-oaxaca cheese sauce, shredded cheese blend, pico de gallo, sliced serrano chiles and Chipotle crema. Though this is not listed on the main menu, you can also opt to get these with a different protein (chicken or steak). There used to be an option for vegan nachos a few years ago, but these are no longer being offered.
Flo's V8 Cafe Neapolitan Shake
A really fun secret menu offering is the Neapolitan Shake from Flo's V8 Cafe! If you can't decide between the different milkshake flavors, this is the perfect choice for you. This milkshake is made up of layers of vanilla, strawberry, and chocolate with “road gravel” (crushed Oreos) on top.
Mobile Ordering the Flo's Neapolitan Shake
It does not show up on the main menu at the restaurant (as it says “Vanilla, Chocolate, OR Strawberry Shake”) but it does show up as an option for mobile orders!
Not only is it so much fun to look at (as you can see above), but the flavors mix together really harmoniously. Strawberry was the prevalent flavor in the version we tried once everything was mixed up, and the Oreos added a nice touch that tied everything together. You'll want to bring your appetite for this as the milkshakes at Flo's are a pretty substantial size!
Galactic Burger from Galactic Grill
We went to Galactic Grill to investigate the secret menu Galactic Burger “Alien Style” which comes with cheese, fries on the inside of the burger, Thousand Island sauce, and grilled onions similar to In-N-Out's “animal style” fries. A Cast Member told us that this secret menu offering could be made for Magic Key holders, but the fries would be on the side.
Mac and Cheese in a Bread Bowl from Aunt Cass Café
Aunt Cass Café (formerly Pacific Wharf Café) is known for its soup-in-a-bread bowl offerings and also has mac-and-cheese on the menu. The mac and cheese in a bread bowl used to be something offered off-menu as one of the “secret” items, but it has now been added to the main menu. Still, it's a fun offering to highlight if you're looking for a filling meal!
Harbour Galley Cookies and Ice Cream to Make Ice Cream Sandwich
If you want the ultimate sugar rush, bring together the best of two worlds—ice cream from Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor on Main Street and chocolate chip cookies from Harbour Galley. This idea has been circulating around and you can really make it your own by combining it with any flavor of ice cream from the location of your choice (The Golden Horseshoe and Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor are the two closest options in the park).
These viral chocolate chip cookies are amazing on their own—in our Harbour Galley cookies review, we talk about how they are perfectly soft and chewy, earning their spot as one of the best Disneyland desserts. Combining them with ice cream makes for the perfect dessert!
Refreshment Corner Secret Menu Items
Another couple of items that were previously on the Disneyland “secret menu” before making their way onto the main menu are the Spicy Firefly Chips at Refreshment Corner, which are spicy corn chips topped with chili, cheese and jalapenos, and the Mac & Cheese Chili in a Sourdough Bread Bowl which features both mac & cheese and chili with shredded cheese.
Like for the mac and cheese bowl at Aunt Cass Cafe, we can assume that these secret menu items were popular enough that it made sense for them to earn a permanent spot.
Other Secret Menu Modifications
Beyond some of the more official secret menu items you'll find at Disneyland, there are also modifications available for food preferences or requests. For example, in the past at Blue Bayou, the chef has made our content director Lindsay a simple pasta without meat (pictured above) that is off the menu. Similarly, most restaurants will let you order adult-sized portions of kids' meal items and charge you as an adult, which we've done at places like Blue Bayou, Carnation Cafe, and Cafe Orleans.
