Popular Lug Bag Coming to Disneyland for First Time!

The popular collaboration between Lug and Disney is coming to Disneyland for the first time! Lug is a family owned business that got its start from being featured on Oprah, QVC, and the SAG Award Show. In 2018 Lug opened its first retail store. Since then they have been incredibly popular, especially with families and travelers.

At Destination D23, Disney announced that they would be partnering with Lug to collaborate on new Disney designs.

Some of these designs are exclusive to the theme parks while the main polka dot collection is available on the Lug website. These designs have been incredibly popular at their debut at Walt Disney World and recently came to the Disney Cruise Line merchandise shops. Disney Lug is now making its debut at Disneyland!

Disney Lug Collaboration 

Walt Disney World was the first Disney Park to receive the Disney Lug bags. We have seen the Figment Lug bag for the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts and Orange Bird for the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival.

There is also a special Lug bag inside the Italian Pavilion in the World Showcase along with a Winnie the Pooh Lug bag that has gone in and out of stock.

These bags have all sold out immediately after being sold on the Disney Store online website and the only one that has consistently remained in stock at the parks has been the Italian Lug bag.

Disney Cruise Line Lug Bag

Disney Cruise Line recently received the Lug bag fashion collection designed by Ashley Eckstein (Star Wars actress & designer) and Bret Iwan (Official voice of Mickey Mouse & Disney artist)! These bags originally debuted on the Disney Wish but are slowly becoming available ship wide.

These were available on the Disney Dream in March and I was lucky enough to grab the Lug backpack from this collection.

Lug Coming to Disneyland for First Time

Now the popular Lug collaboration is coming to Disneyland for the first time! A new Pixar Fest Lug bag will be part of the brand new Pixar Fest merchandise collection. You can see the new crossbody bag in the above picture.

Pixar Fest debuts at Disneyland April 26th and runs through August 4th. Pixar Fest will feature exciting offerings like a new daytime parade, new food marketplaces, a new DJ dance party coming to the Hollywood Backlot, and more.

I imagine we will see this new Pixar Fest Lug bag available starting April 26th. If the demand at Walt Disney World for the festival exclusive bags have been any indication, I anticipate we will see this bag sell out quickly once it’s released.
