Disney World Announces Change to EPCOT Concert Lineup

These shows are extremely popular, and dining packages guaranteeing seats sell out fast. The EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival is happening now, with its Eat to the Beat Concert Series bringing in bands from across genres to perform at the park. One of those acts just changed. This follows a recently announced change for a future EPCOT festival.

Food & Wine Festival Concert Change

The Eat to the Beat Concert Series is back for the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. The performances continue daily, now through November 16, 2026, a few days earlier than the festival’s last official day, November 21.

The concert’s musicians generally perform for two or three days, and Disney announces the lineup months in advance. Last-minute changes are rare, but they can happen. Disney previously announced that The Beach Boys featuring John Stamos would perform at EPCOT’s Eat to the Beat Concert Series on November 11 and November 12.

On October 28, Disney shared that John Stamos and the California Sound will perform on November 11 and 12 instead, retaining Stamos but replacing The Beach Boys. See all remaining EPCOT concert dates and artists below.

The California Sound doesn’t seem to have a notable online footprint. Search results for a music group with this name populate instead with information about the general “California sound” music genre.

The Beach Boys cancelled multiple shows earlier this year due to the health issues of Mike Love, the band’s frontman and an original member, as reported by Rolling Stone. His most recent performance was on October 11.

John Stamos has performed with The Beach Boys for years, including at previous EPCOT concerts and during the October 11 performance. Before that show, Stamos posted on Instagram, “My beloved friend, father figure, musical hero, and mentor, Mike Love, is facing serious health challenges. We hope he’ll be doing what he loves for years to come, but we don’t know what the future holds. We have tonight.”

Following that show, Love told the New York Times, “I’m putting my full energy into rehab so I can get back to the music and the best fans in the world,” as published in an October 20 report.

Reading between the lines, “John Stamos and the California Sound” could simply be most of the same Beach Boys band that was already scheduled to perform at EPCOT on November 11 and 12, just without Mike Love. However, that is speculation and has not been announced by Disney.
