Disney has announced four different closures for November 2026 across Disneyland and Disney World. The closure list this month is fairly short as Disney prepares on both coasts for the popular holiday season. However, one popular ride at Walt Disney World will be closed for most of the month which guests should be aware of. See all the the September closures here and the October closures here.
These closures listed here are a snapshot at this moment in time and are likely to change as additional dates are released. There’s also always the possibility that more attractions are added to the refurbishment list. Disneyland Ride Closures for November 2026
Disneyland’s ride closures for November are fairly short with only two attractions closed and reopening mid-month as part of the holiday celebrations which start on November 13.

“it’s a small word” will close October 30 to transform into “it’s a small world” Holiday and will reopen on November 13 when the holiday season starts.
Redwood Creek Challenge Trail will be closed November 1 and reopen November 13 to remove the Villains Grove experience from Oogie Boogie Bash and transform into a Santa meet and greet. Read more about the transition between Halloween and the holidays here.
The past few months Disneyland has not been operating Davy Crockett’s Explorer Canoes and Sailing Ship Columbia on a daily basis. Keep a close watch on the Disneyland calendar to see which dates the experiences are operating. Currently the calendar shows Davy’s Crockett’s Explorer Canoes operating Fridays through Sundays only until November 13 when it switches to daily operations. As for Sailing Ship Columbia, it only operates Saturdays and Sundays until November 14 when it switches to daily operations
Disney World Ride Closures for November 2026
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at Magic Kingdom will be closed starting on November 2 and will reopen on December 18. Along with Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, the nearby gift shops Critter Co-Op and Tiana’s Bayou General will also close on the same date.
Generally, the Walt Disney World Railroad has been operating under a modified route that excludes the Frontierland station, with the train operating in “shuttle mode” between Main Street station and Fantasyland station. The train will remain in this “shuttle mode” for the next few years while work continues on Piston Peak, the new Cars-inspired land, and Villains Land. That will continue when the railroad reopens at the end of the month.
Typhoon Lagoon has been closed for seasonal maintenance since September 9. Blizzard Beach will remain open.
Carousel of Progress in Magic Kingdom closed on July 6 for a major overhaul of the ride’s timeline, with the story of the ride shifting forward by 60 years. The new version of the attraction will reopen sometime in 2027.
