Another new location called Basin on the BoardWalk is opening soon. Basin on the BoardWalk doesn’t have an official opening date yet, but now there is a new shop page on the Walt Disney World website that says “Coming Soon.”
The page shares more details about this upcoming addition. Inspired by 1920s-era apothecaries, the shop will have DIY experiences, including blending your own bath tea and making or embossing soap. The store will also offer handcrafted products, including bath bombs, body butters, botanical bath salts, lip salves, natural soaps, and shampoo and conditioner bars.
Basin on the BoardWalk will replace the former Promenade Fine Art Gallery, which closed in October 2025.

Currently, there are two other Basin locations in Walt Disney World. Disney Springs has a Basin in its Marketplace section, where shoppers can buy cruelty-free spa products, including creams, fresh-sliced soaps, masks, and more. There’s also a Basin White located in Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. Basin White is the luxury tier of the Basin brand, selling exclusive items and products in different packaging.
BoardWalk Additions and Changes Following Closures
The addition of Basin is one of many changes the BoardWalk has undergone over the past two years.
Hurly-Burly opened in early October, replacing the dueling piano bar Jellyrolls, which closed in April 2025. The new space is designed like a turn-of-the-century seaside theater and serves coastal-inspired cocktails and shareable Italian-American appetizers. Family-friendly games are offered during the daytime before it becomes an adults-only venue with musical acts at 9 p.m.
In August 2024, the quick-service Blue Ribbon Corn Dog kiosk opened, followed in October 2024 by The Cake Bake Shop, which replaced the ESPN Club after it closed in March 2022.
The Atlantic Dance Hall closed to regular guests in September and is now available for private bookings only.

A quick-service dining location has also been teased, and we think this will replace Big River Grille & Brewing Works, which closed in 2024.
Disney’s BoardWalk is a quarter-mile promenade around Crescent Lake, set near the International Gateway entrance to Epcot and adjacent to Disney’s BoardWalk Inn. Inspired by turn-of-the-century boardwalks in Atlantic City, Coney Island and other coastal areas, guests can access quick-service eateries, restaurants, shops, midway games, nightlife, street performers and Surrey bike rentals.
This is a great area to spend some time on a day off from the parks, and guests have some fun new offerings to explore with these new additions.
