Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge will have one of the most expansive pool areas of any Walt Disney World hotel. Access to a mini water park called The Wetlands will be complimentary for Lakeshore Lodge guests. The Wetlands includes a lazy river, a zero-entry pool, a full-size slide, a kiddie slide, a splash pad, and a dry playground.

A separate quiet pool area called Cypress Point will also be available. See more details on Lakeshore Lodge’s pool areas.

Boat on water

Like all Walt Disney World hotels, Lakeshore Lodge will provide complimentary transportation throughout the Disney property. Guests can take a boat to Magic Kingdom, or a bus to EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, or Disney Springs. Minnie Van service, Disney’s rideshare program, will also be available at Lakeshore Lodge for a fee.

Lakeshore Lodge will have a fitness center, like its fellow deluxe-tier Walt Disney World hotels. See our picks for the best Disney World gyms.

Dandelion Terrace will be one of the most unique perks of Lakeshore Lodge. It will be a 2-story common area designed specifically for fireworks viewing of Magic Kingdom’s nightly spectacular across the lake. Dandelion Terrace isn’t a reservation space or a restaurant, but rather an indoor area, open to any overnight guest, intended for fireworks views.

All Walt Disney World hotel guests, including those staying at Lakeshore Lodge, can enter any Disney World theme park 30 minutes before other guests, every day, during a period called Early Theme Park Entry. Additionally, since Lakeshore Lodge is a deluxe-tier resort, it qualifies for Extended Evening Theme Park Hours, 2 hours of extra time in the parks after they close on select nights.

Electrical Water Pageant from Disney's Polynesian Village Resort hotel deluxe - Walt Disney World

The Electrical Water Pageant is a Walt Disney World tradition going back to 1971. Fiber-optic floats glide across Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake, stopping along the shores of the waterfront hotels for a brief performance synchronized to music. This is old-school Walt Disney World charm at its best, and it will perform for Lakeshore Lodge guests nightly.

Self-parking at Lakeshore Lodge will be free for overnight guests, as it is for guests staying at every Walt Disney World hotel. Valet parking will be $42.

Disney has also confirmed that free wi-fi will be included with every stay at Lakeshore Lodge.

Guests staying at Walt Disney World hotels, including Lakeshore Lodge, receive priority access to multiple types of reservations before other guests. Hotel guests can make dining reservations for their entire vacation timeframe 60 days before their check-in date. Other guests can only book dining reservations 60 days out from their exact dining date. Additionally, Disney hotel guests can reserve Lightning Lane bookings for their entire trip 7 days before their check-in date, compared to other guests who must wait until 3 days before their park visit.

Keeping with modern Disney hotel rooms, Lakeshore Lodge accommodations will come equipped with Hey Disney!, a voice assistant device that can be used to set alarms, read stories, and for other functional or entertainment purposes.
