Disney World Announces New BoardWalk Dining Replacing Permanently Closed Location Menu & Opening Date

Walt Disney World has been busy opening new dining locations, like a specialty hand pie shop at Disney Springs, and preparing for future experiences, like a pop-up restaurant coming to Magic Kingdom. At the same time, a longtime restaurant will soon close, and Disney’s culinary teams also recently rolled out new Halloween menus. As guests continue to look ahead to the fall season, Disney shared more dining news.

Disney revealed the opening date and menu for a new dining location opening as a replacement for a longtime guest favorite. We have photos and pricing for all the menu items, how getting a table will work, and what to expect from this new venue, which will be family-friendly during some hours and adults-only during others. Mickey Visit brings you the latest Disney news and planning resources, including Disney World character experiences ending and two Magic Kingdom rides closing for refurbishment later this year.

Disney’s BoardWalk Opening Jellyrolls Replacement Hurly-Burly

Live music concept art

Jellyrolls, a piano bar at Disney’s BoardWalk at Walt Disney World, permanently closed in 2025 after nearly 30 years of operation. Jellyrolls will soon have a new location in Lake Buena Vista, outside of Disney World but about 10 minutes away from its former BoardWalk location.

As previously announced, a new concept called Hurly-Burly will replace Jellyrolls at the BoardWalk. Themed as a turn-of-the-century seaside theater, Hurly-Burly will host family-friendly trivia during the daytime and live music for guests age 21+ starting at 9:00 PM.

Disney revealed that Hurly-Burly will open on October 1, 2026. See the menu and photos below. For guests interested in trying Hurly-Burly menu items but not staying for the atmosphere, a walk-up window will be available.

Unlike many dining locations across Disney World, Hurly-Burly will not accept reservations. Like Jellyrolls before it, Hurly-Burly will serve walk-ups only. We expect it to be very popular, so this could mean a significant wait for guests vying to check it out.

Jellyrolls had a cover charge. Disney did not mention a cover charge in its announcement of Hurly-Burly details.

Above is a look at exterior construction for Hurly-Burly as of August 2026.

Disney also shared new details about the fictional backstory of Hurly-Burly. As with many Walt Disney Imagineering spaces, Hurly-Burly “used to be” something that is now being “repurposed” as something else. Within the story, Hurly-Burly was once the home of the BoardWalk’s most celebrated vaudeville performers. A century later, it’s being reopened as a tribute to its glory days.

Located along the BoardWalk waterfront promenade, Hurly-Burly will add to the options available here for overnight guests staying at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn, or EPCOT guests making the short walk over from the theme park’s back entrance at the International Gateway.

In the coming months, Basin on the BoardWalk, a soap and bath store, will also open nearby, as will a quick service restaurant that Disney hasn’t revealed details for yet.

Recent additions to the BoardWalk include The Cake Bake Shop Restaurant, The Cake Bake Shop Bakery, and Blue Ribbon Corn Dog.
