A fan favorite lounge experience closed permanently at Walt Disney World last spring, and until now, we did not know what would be replacing this popular experience. Disney has just announced the replacement, plus other additional openings, coming soon.
This new lounge will offer live music and trivia in a popular nightlife location at Disney World. We have all the details on this new lounge, plus two additional announcements of new establishments coming to this same area. Mickey Visit brings you the latest Disney news and planning resources, including one of our favorite Disney meals at a hidden Mexican restaurant and sold-out dates for Disney After Hours, plus which dates are still available.
Jellyrolls BoardWalk Replacement Announced

Disney’s BoardWalk, a dining and entertainment district near the back entrance of EPCOT and adjacent to Disney’s BoardWalk Inn, currently has several vacancies along its waterfront property. We previously checked in on these spaces following closures of longtime tenants, and now we know what’s coming next.
One of these vacancies is from the former popular dueling piano bar, Jellyrolls, which permanently closed on April 19, 2025, much to the dismay of Disney World guests who loved the unique entertainment at this spot. Jellyrolls will soon have a new location in Lake Buena Vista, which is just about ten minutes away from its former BoardWalk location.

Jellyrolls was widely considered one of the most iconic experiences as part of the nightlife on Disney’s BoardWalk. It had a large following of locals, resort guests, and repeat visitors for nearly three decades. This high-energy dueling piano bar was known for its loud, interactive sing-alongs and late-night crowds. It was truly one of the only adult nightlife experiences in the EPCOT resort area. Since Jellyrolls closed, the atmosphere on the BoardWalk has been far quieter than it once was.
But now, Disney World has finally announced its likely replacement, along with other new offerings coming to the Boardwalk to revitalize the atmosphere.

A new lounge called Hurly-Burly will open at Disney’s BoardWalk in late 2026, serving coastal-inspired cocktails and light bites. Its interior design will be themed as a turn-of-the-century seaside theater.
During the daytime, Hurly-Burly will host family-friendly trivia. During its evening hours, the lounge will feature live music. By night, Hurly-Burly will be an adults-only space, admitting guests 21 years or older and no kids allowed.
We think Hurly-Burly will occupy the space that previously belonged to Jellyrolls. The style of this new location and concept art all mirrors the former Jellyrolls space.
New Store and Restaurant Coming to Disney’s BoardWalk

In addition to Hurly-Burly, Disney also revealed another new tenant and hinted at another.
Basin on the BoardWalk will be a new soap store at Disney’s BoardWalk. Guests can purchase bath salts, bath bombs, body butters, lip salves, shampoo, and conditioner bars, including embossing services.

Visitors at Basin on the BoardWalk can also blend their own custom bath teas or make their own soap.
We think Basin on the BoardWalk may replace the former Promenade Fine Art Gallery, which closed in 2025.
Lastly, Disney teased the announcement of a new quick service restaurant coming to Disney’s BoardWalk, but said it will refrain from sharing details until later in the summer. We think this venue will likely replace Big River Grille & Brewing Works, which closed in 2024.
