It’s been 25 years since “Sandy Claws” first took over Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion, the start of what would become an annual Nightmare Before Christmas overlay of the classic ride, dubbed Haunted Mansion Holiday. The seasonal attraction has become a Disneyland tradition, complete with its unique gingerbread house, which Disneyland’s culinary teams create in a new design each year. A new slate of apparel and accessories celebrates the silver anniversary of this favorite offering.
Disneyland launched a 25th anniversary merchandise collection for Haunted Mansion Holiday, as well as new items for the regular Haunted Mansion and The Nightmare Before Christmas. We were at Disneyland on the first day of Halloween Time to check out the new merch, and we have photos of everything. Mickey Visit brings you the latest Disney news and planning resources, including a Disneyland ride reopening after a 4-month closure and a food brand integration changing Disney theme parks.

The front of the shirt has Jack and Sally’s hands holding a gingerbread cookie with “icing” lettering celebrating Haunted Mansion Holiday’s 25th anniversary.
A new bomber jacket also celebrates the ride’s milestone birthday. The front says “Haunted Mansion” in embroidered letters and also features Jack Skellington, Oogie Boogie, and Scary Teddy. One of the sleeves says “Haunted Mansion Holiday 25th Anniversary.”
The back of the bomber jacket features the Man-Eating Wreath from the ride and movie, along with a centerpiece gingerbread house and Zero the ghost dog.

New Classic Haunted Mansion Merchandise
The new items featuring the classic version of Haunted Mansion are available online via Disney Store in addition to being sold in the parks.
The legendary Hatbox Ghost, whose head disappears from his body and reappears in a hatbox onboard the Haunted Mansion ride, is featured in a cartoonish style on this new gray Disneyland Resort T-shirt.
The Hatbox Ghost is also the subject of a cool new sling bag. His head actually changes from his body to the hatbox as you move the bag! The bag says “The Haunted Mansion” on the bottom and “Welcome Foolish Mortals” on a blue strap.
Madame Leota is on a new purple T-shirt, which says “Send us a message from regions beyond” in a circle around her crystal ball.
The back of the shirt has the ride’s logo.
The gargoyle candelabra is featured on this simple white T-shirt, which says “Disneyland Resort” on the front.
The back of that same gargoyle T-shirt bears the Ghost Host’s famous greeting, “Welcome, foolish mortals,” along with the ride logo.
New Nightmare Before Christmas Merchandise
A few new apparel items feature Nightmare Before Christmas characters, but are more generic to Disneyland rather than Haunted Mansion Holiday itself. This white T-shirt features the heads of Zero, Jack, and Sally.
A cream-colored T-shirt displays Lock, Shock, and Barrel, claiming them as “little henchmen.”
A fun Oogie Boogie hoodie says “Let’s Boogie” on the front, and features a few fun design quirks. A pair of dice is illustrated by the pockets, and the sleeve seems to be bursting open with Oogie’s bug guts.
The hood resembles Oogie’s head!
A black Spirit Jersey features Jack’s head in three different expressions.
