Halloween Time, including the annual Haunted Mansion Holiday ride overlay, officially begins August 21, 2026, but a few special events are starting early, including Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party. The first party of the 2026 season is August 18, and remaining dates with tickets available are becoming fewer and fewer.
Oogie Boogie Bash is sold out for multiple nights before the party season has even begun. Oogie Boogie Bash Sold Out Dates 2026
Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party returns to Disney California Adventure at Disneyland Resort on select nights from August 18 through October 31, 2026.
New this year, party guests can see Yzma from The Emperor’s New Groove and watch the debut of Madame Leota’s Swinging Wake – A Haunted Mansion Street Party.

Oogie Boogie Bash is very popular. The after-hours event serves as a prime opportunity to experience favorite rides with shorter wait times than during the regular operating day, the only chance for adults to attend the park in costume, and the one time of year when Disney Villains take over the park.
Since we last checked in on ticket availability for 2026’s Oogie Boogie Bash, 11 more nights have sold out. The following dates are now unavailable, as of August 12, 2026. The bold dates indicate newly sold-out dates.
- August 23, 2026
- September 6, 13, 20, and 24, 2026
- October 4, 6, 8, 11, 13, 15, 18, 20, 22, 25, 29, and 31, 2026
These are going fast, and this cadence will likely continue. It seems that October dates are in high demand as more guests purchase tickets for nights close to Halloween itself, October 31. The only Oogie Boogie Bash dates in October with tickets remaining are October 1 and 27. The October 27 date, the closest left to Halloween, comes at the steep price of $189.
August remains almost wide open, with all nights except August 23 still having tickets available. This includes opening night, August 18. August is also when the event’s ticket price is cheapest, at $139 most nights.

These patterns are in interesting contrast to the sold-out dates for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Walt Disney World in Florida. In that case, the earliest dates in the season were among the first to go.
