The Highest-Rated Restaurant at Magic Kingdom Might Surprise You. Most Guests Walk Right Past It

Magic Kingdom is home to some of Walt Disney World‘s most popular table service breakfasts, including character dining with Disney Princesses inside Cinderella Castle and a buffet with unlimited Mickey waffle churros. However, breakfast is also served at an out-of-the-way window that happens to be Magic Kingdom's #1 rated restaurant on Yelp.

This popular breakfast in Magic Kingdom doesn't require a reservation and is served at a quick service restaurant that many guests walk right past en route to Haunted Mansion. We share what's on the menu, prices, and tips for visiting. Sleepy Hollow is Magic Kingdom's Top-Rated Restaurant

Sleepy Hollow is a quick service dining location in Liberty Square at Magic Kingdom. Just after crossing the bridge from Cinderella Castle's hub area into Liberty Square, Sleepy Hollow is immediately on your right. Guests order food at a window and sit at tables in a small adjacent courtyard with stunning views of the castle. Mobile ordering is also available.

Sleepy Hollow is named after the setting of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, the story famous for Ichabod Crane and the Headless Horseman. Disney adapted the tale as one half of the 1949 feature The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad.

Sleepy Hollow has the same menu all day, but its food selections are typically associated with breakfast. Because Sleepy Hollow has no indoor seating, we suggest dining here in the morning before the Florida heat gets too intense. This is one of the most popular breakfast locations in Magic Kingdom, while also being the top-rated Magic Kingdom restaurant on Yelp.

The signature items at Sleepy Hollow are waffles, and the reviews often call out how amazing these waffles are, especially for breakfast right by Cinderella Castle.

First up is a waffle with chocolate-hazelnut spread, bananas, berries, and whipped cream for $9.79. There's also a waffle with berries, powdered sugar, and whipped cream for $8.79. For a combo of sweet and savory, order the waffle with sweet-and-spicy maple chicken for $12.99. A plain waffle with powdered sugar is available for $6.49.

For beverages, Sleepy Hollow serves Joffrey's coffee, Twinings tea, milk, apple juice, orange juice, Dasani water, and hot chocolate.

Funnel Cake

Funnel cakes are also a specialty at Sleepy Hollow. Sleepy Hollow's funnel cakes are $8.79 and come in the same varieties of toppings as the restaurant's waffles.

These make for a great afternoon snack if you want to save your Sleepy Hollow experience for an afternoon visit instead. Or you can enjoy a funnel cake for breakfast…it is vacation after all!

As you can see, most of the menu items at Sleepy Hollow are on the sweeter side. The menu's one savory option is a corn dog for $11.49. Those looking for a wider selection of protein options can find plenty at the nearby Crystal Palace buffet, but for those who are seeking a treat for breakfast, this is a great option that's quick and offers standard menu items most families will enjoy.
