Disney Springs Announces Opening Date For Major New Addition

Walt Disney World‘s summer calendar is filled with new attractions opening, and the changes go beyond the theme parks to include Disney Springs, the resort’s dining and shopping district. A longtime tenant recently departed, a popular vendor is gearing up for a major overhaul, and now we know new details about a highly anticipated attraction opening soon.

Described as a “playground designed for adults and teens,” Disney Springs’ major new addition just revealed its opening date, ticket pricing, and what to expect inside its 46,800-square-foot labyrinth that replaces a notoriously short-lived defunct attraction. Mickey Visit brings you the latest Disney news and planning resources, including Disney World’s hugely popular new attraction and a Disney transportation restriction policy likely becoming permanent.

Disney World’s New Playground for Adults

Level99 is coming to Disney Springs at Walt Disney World, bringing with it 63 “life-sized mini games” for adults and teenagers, as well as a two-story bar.

Some of the games will be physical, like dodging foam axes and swinging across a ropes course. Others are more high-concept, like a game in which the player pretends to be a dinner party host and plans the perfect evening by solving puzzles.

Just announced, Level99 at Disney Springs will open on June 29, 2026.

Tickets start at $29.99 and are sold in 1.5- and 2.5-hour intervals. Admission is good for all games. Ticket sales will launch on June 22 at level99.com.

Level99 will be located in the huge building formerly occupied by the short-lived NBA Experience on the West Side of Disney Springs, near Cirque du Soleil. Before the NBA Experience, this real estate was the longtime home of DisneyQuest, billed as Disney’s “indoor, interactive theme park” with high-tech video game attractions. The original DisneyQuest building was completely demolished to construct the NBA Experience. Now, Level99 repurposes the interior of the defunct NBA facilities.

Level99 is a chain, with Disney Springs as its fourth location, following Natick, Massachusetts; Providence, Rhode Island; and Tysons, Virginia. Four future locations are under construction in West Hartford, Connecticut; King of Prussia, Pennsylvania; Paramus, New Jersey; and Raleigh, North Carolina.

“As a company founded on innovation and groundbreaking themed entertainment, it is a natural fit to now be at a place built on those very same ideals,” said Matt DuPlessie, Level99 Founder and CEO. “We can’t wait to welcome our first players.”

“We know our guests love the variety of experiences here at Disney Springs, and Level99 is a perfect addition to make even more fun memories with friends and family,” said Debbie Hart, Vice President, Disney Springs.

  • Roni, Roni, Roni  – signature Detroit-style pizza made with 24-hour cold fermented dough and baked in a steel pan to get a crispy cheese frico, and topped with Ezzo cupping pepperoni, housemade red sauce, pecorino romano, Calabrian chili, and fresh basil
  • House Burger – 100% domestic wagyu, sharp white cheddar, caramelized onion, brown butter aioli and brioche

Changes Across Disney World

The opening of Level99 on June 29 continues a packed summer of new attractions across Walt Disney World.

In May alone, the hugely popular preschool character Bluey made her debut at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, the Mandalorian and Grogu joined a Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge ride, the Muppets took over Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster permanently, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse arrived at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Soarin’ introduced a third version.

All four parks and select hotels are also celebrating Cool KIDS’ SUMMER with special activations and amenities for families with young children.

In late summer, The Magic of Disney Animation will open at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The museum-style attraction will include a drawing class hosted by an Audio-Animatronics figure of Olaf from Frozen.

At Disney Springs, Level99 will be joined by the summer openings of Six Ravens, a handpie shop from the creators of Gideon’s Bakehouse, and Vuori, an athletic apparel store.
