The Disney Springs shopping and dining district at Walt Disney World is undergoing a multitude of changes as longtime tenants move out, new brands move in, and others opt for a makeover of their existing spaces. Following recent closure developments, two Disney Springs brands announced upcoming changes.

Ghirardelli Relocating for Makeover
Ghirardelli Soda Fountain & Chocolate Shop at Disney Springs will undergo a major refurbishment. The current location will close in summer 2026 and reopen in spring 2027. Exact dates have not been announced.

During construction, Ghirardelli will temporarily relocate to the building that recently hosted the limited-time pop-up of CrazyShake by Black Tap. Before that, this space was the longtime home of the Sprinkles cupcake shop, which permanently closed in early 2026.

Ghirardelli’s temporary location will reside in the Town Center section of Disney Springs, near the Frontera Cocina restaurant and the Pandora jewelry shop. The long-term Ghirardelli location will remain on the Marketplace side of Disney Springs, between World of Disney and the Marketplace Co-Op.
Cole Haan Location in Disney Springs
Johnston & Murphy, a shoe store, closed in Disney Springs in May 2026 after 10 years of operation.
The former Johnston & Murphy windowpanes now display teasers for the store’s replacement, Cole Haan, another footwear company.
Cole Haan will be located in the Town Center area of Disney Springs, specifically in the sheltered walkway, which also houses Vera Bradley, Lilly Pulitzer, and Tommy Bahama.

More Disney Springs Changes

The location switch-ups for Ghirardelli Soda Fountain & Chocolate Shop and Cole Haan follow a series of news from other Disney Springs tenants.
Francesca’s and Shore permanently closed earlier this year. Eyecatchers is also no longer listed as being open.
4 Rivers Cantina Baracoa Food Truck, Cilantro Urban Eatery Food Truck, and GoJuice will all permanently close in mid-June.
