Another Disney Springs Store Possibly Closing Soon

Disney Springs has seen many changes this year, with multiple locations permanently closing. Starting in March, Francesca’s permanently closed after filing plans to cease operations of all of its locations nationwide. This closure was followed by Shore, a beach-inspired clothing and accessory retail location, which closed its doors on May 1. Then, just a week later, Johnston & Murphy closed on May 8. All three locations sold various apparel and footwear.

These retail locations aren’t the only spots in Disney Springs facing closures. The Sprinkles cupcake shop at Disney Springs ceased operations in January. For the moment, the former location is home to a temporary pop-up of CrazyShake by Black Tap Craft Burgers. And then we recently reported on the permanent closure of the food trucks located in Exposition Park on the West Side, which are expected to close in mid-June.

Now it appears that another retail location might be closing as well. The website page for Eyecatchers, a kiosk selling themed wind spinners, has disappeared from the Disney Springs website. When you search for the retail location on the Walt Disney World website, it lists no current operating hours. We reached out to Eyecatchers via phone and email for comment, but received no response.

Their wind spinners feature Disney-inspired designs, with options on their website showcasing characters from Alice in Wonderland, Winnie the Pooh, and The Lion King. The Disney Springs location is right by Disney Pin Traders and around the corner from Star Wars Trading Post.

Eyecatchers also has a small kiosk in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, not far from the shops by Kilimanjaro Safaris. Their Instagram page still lists both locations at Disney Springs and Animal Kingdom as their retail spaces.
