Another store has just revealed it will be closing its doors permanently, just weeks after we reported on two other retail locations closing for good at Disney Springs. Disney Springs at Disney World features several national chains along with Disney-run retail spaces, making it one of the most popular outdoor shopping districts in the area.

Another Disney Springs Store Closing Soon
Johnston & Murphy, located in the Town Center area of Disney Springs, will be closing its location at the popular Disney shopping district. The final day of operations for the premium American footwear and apparel brand will be May 7, 2026, with a closing date of May 8, 2026.

Johnston & Murphy is recognized as the longest continually operated footwear company in the United States and is historically known as the “Shoemaker to the Presidents” for having crafted footwear for every U.S. president since Millard Fillmore. The store will be moving to a new location inside The Mall of Millenia, a premium indoor shopping mall in Orlando, about a 20-minute drive from Disney Springs.
The retailer had been operating at Disney Springs for 10 years, and there is currently no replacement tenant for the space announced yet.
Three Disney Springs Retail Locations Closing This Year
This news comes just weeks after we reported on two other retail closures impacting Disney Springs. First was Francesca’s, which closed on March 29, 2026. Francesca’s specialized in women’s clothing, dresses, jewelry, accessories, and gifts, and filed plans in January 2026 to cease operations of all of its locations nationwide.
This was followed by the news that Shore would permanently close its Disney Springs location on May 1, 2026. Shore sold beach-inspired clothing and accessories. Shore’s closure was just for Disney Springs, permanently closing its Disney Springs location on May 1, 2026.
Replacement tenants for both Francesca’s and Shore have also not been announced. Francesca’s was located between the Pura Vida jewelry store and the Everything But Water swimwear store, near the Town Center guest relations. As for Shore, it was located one alleyway over from Francesca’s, between Sephora and the Stance clothing store.
These retail spaces aren’t the only ones that have faced closures. The Sprinkles cupcake shop at Disney Springs ceased operations in January. For the moment, the former location is home to a temporary pop-up of CrazyShake by Black Tap Craft Burgers.
New Disney Springs Locations Opening Soon
However, it’s not all bad news for Disney Springs as new locations will be debuting soon. One of the most anticipated is the handpie shop called Six Ravens from the creators of the highly popular Gideon’s Bakehouse cookie shop. This new treat location will be located in the former spot of The Art of Shaving, located in The Landing section of Disney Springs and across from Paradiso 37.
There will also be a new interactive, immersive game space for adults opening a location inside the former home of the NBA Experience on the West Side of Disney Springs. Level99 features a selection of over 60 games, including one-on-one duels and group challenges.
