One of Walt Disney World’s resort hotels in the moderate tier stands out from the other options in the same category as having the best lineup of restaurants. This may be partially due to the reality that this resort is home to a large conference center and bridges the gap between moderate and deluxe in a number of different ways.
The three restaurants that we are looking at today aren’t even the only locations at this resort that are worth your time. The quick service restaurant and sports bar also offer great dishes. Let’s dive into this resort and the three dining locations we recommend here. Mickey Visit brings you the latest Disney news and planning resources, including a Magic Kingdom dining location permanent closing and a new Monsters, Inc. restaurant coming to Disney World.

Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort Delivers With Great Dining
Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort was transformed in 2019 when the existing property was expanded with Gran Destino Tower. The tower brought a deluxe-level set of rooms to the resort, increasing the number of guests staying here and the market for high-end restaurants.
Gran Destino Tower built upon an already robust set of restaurant options that opened with the rest of the Coronado Springs campus in 1997. From the beginning, Disney recognized the need for this resort to offer sufficient dining choices for guests, as Coronado Springs is geographically separate from the rest of Walt Disney World.
It’s not connected to anything else by any transportation besides buses, an abnormality among moderate resorts, so guests staying here can’t easily scurry away to dining hot spots as easily as, say, guests staying at Disney’s Port Orleans Resorts, who can take a boat to Disney Springs.
Coronado Springs is also home to one of Disney World’s biggest convention centers. Everything from business retreats to D23 fan events to cheer competitions takes place at the resort. There are a lot of people here often, and the restaurants are set up to support this.
The three restaurants that we are spotlighting today are all varying levels of table service restaurants. The last one listed is most iconic.
Maya Grill
Maya Grill is a Mexican restaurant with a variety of classic dishes, from a taco salad to fajitas. The restaurant is located just off of El Mercado de Coronado Food Court near the convention center. Disney refers to Maya Grill as a “modern Mexican experience.”
The restaurant is run by the same outside lessee that has been running the restaurants at the Mexico Pavilion in World Showcase since EPCOT opened. This is a family business that goes back to Mexico City.
Here’s a look at the menu for the restaurant from our recent visit.

Three Bridges Bar and Grill at Villa del Lago
Another great dining option at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort is slightly more casual, but perhaps even more iconic: Three Bridges Bar and Grill at Villa del Lago. It’s named for the three bridges that intersect at Villa del Lago, the small building complex in the middle of Coronado Springs’s central lake. It opened in 2019 with the overall upgrades at Coronado Springs.
Three Bridges’ menu includes shareable items like wings and nachos. Its entrées, running from $18-$30, include steak, grilled chicken, tacos, and poke bowls, pictured above. The restaurant also serves the Three Bridges Signature Pressed Burger, which comes with bacon, white cheddar, caramelized onions, aïoli, and arugula.
Typically, Three Bridges operates as a table service restaurant with servers who come around to take your order, but during the biggest events at the convention center, we have seen the restaurant serve to-go orders only.
Keep in mind that this restaurant is completely outside and is impacted by the Florida heat. Avoid eating here during the peak days of summer.
Toledo – Tapas, Steak, & Seafood
Located at the top of Gran Destino Tower is a table service dining location that would be worthy of any deluxe resort at Walt Disney World. The full name of this eatery is Toledo – Tapas, Steak, & Seafood.
The space, along with the rest of Gran Destino Tower, was partially designed in the style of Salvador Dalí to honor the artist’s unfinished collaboration with Walt Disney in the 1940s. After both artists’ passings, Roy E. Disney, Walt’s nephew, was instrumental in seeing that project through to fruition. It ultimately became Destino, a 2003 short film that was nominated for an Academy Award and is now on Disney+.
Guests can choose from a sit-down meal at Toledo or a more casual dining experience at the adjacent Dahlia Lounge, which serves drinks and small plates, and is named after the main character from the Destino short film.
We like both the lounge and restaurant up here. They provide a great view out toward both EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Toledo’s menu features elevated dishes like salmon, filet of beef, and grilled lamb loin, ranging from $33-$41.
Unique to Toledo, many menu items are designed to feed two people. These double portions range from $115 to $159.
The restaurant is also home to the Sangria University experience, which takes place during the day on weekends. We’ll be sharing our review of the experience soon.
Have you tried any of these three restaurants at Coronado Springs? Do you have any that you would add? Is this the best food resort at Disney World?
