Viral Ice Cream Bar at Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Disney’s Animal Kingdom at Walt Disney World introduced the Cookie Dough Brownie Ice Cream Sandwich earlier this year.

There are three main layers to this treat. The bottom layer is a brownie. The middle layer is vanilla ice cream. The top layer is edible cookie dough, topped with chocolate chips.
The Cookie Dough Brownie Ice Cream Sandwich is sold at a small snack window location in Disney’s Animal Kingdom called Terra Treats. If you’re approaching the bridge from Discovery Island to the park’s Africa area, it’s on the right side directly before the bridge. It’s directly across from the park’s first aid center, near Starbucks.

During my visit, the line stretched along the nearby pathway, much longer than a typical queue for a small snack location like this. It moved quickly, though, and I had my treat in hand less than 10 minutes after hopping in line.
It really is as good as people say. Mine actually got even better as I let it melt a little bit and warm up, as it gave me a brain freeze initially.
The Cookie Dough Brownie Ice Cream Sandwich costs $8.99. I think that’s a reasonable price for a snack of this size at a theme park and for how good it tastes. It qualifies as a snack on the Disney Dining Plan.

The operating hours for Terra Treats are 10:30 AM to 5 PM daily, so plan your snack break accordingly.

Bluey Treats at Animal Kingdom
Snacks at Disney’s Animal Kingdom are having a moment. In addition to the Cookie Dough Brownie Ice Cream Sandwich, guests can enjoy sweet and savory items inspired by the hit preschool series Bluey, starting on May 26 in honor of the grand opening of Bluey’s Wild World at Conservation Station.
The new Bluey menu items include Fairy Bread Cake, Wackadoo Fruit Freeze, Bluey’s Berry Lemonade, and Pretzel’s Preztels, plus a new Bluey novelty sipper that’s extremely popular at Disneyland in California. Keep in mind that guests need a virtual queue reservation to visit Bluey’s Wild World at Conservation Station. There will be no standby line when the experience initially opens. Learn how to join the virtual queue here.
