Starting May 16, 2026, The Diamond Horseshoe will pause its restaurant operations. On May 26, 2026, Jessie’s Roundup: A Rip-Roarin’ Revue! will open in its place, continuing through September 8, 2026. Sometime in fall 2026, The Diamond Horseshoe’s dining service will return.
The last day to eat at The Diamond Horseshoe before the changeover is May 15.
Jessie’s Roundup: A Rip-Roarin’ Revue! will involve live character appearances by Jessie, Woody, and Bullseye from Toy Story 5. Disney calls the attraction “a Toy Story-inspired hoedown” with dancing, singing, games, and activities.

It’s unclear whether Jessie’s Roundup is a scripted production with showtimes or if The Diamond Horseshoe will be open all day with intermittent structured programming.
Toy Story 5 will be released in theaters on June 19, 2026, part of an ambitious slate of upcoming Disney movies.
Disney has not mentioned any food involved in Jessie’s Roundup. This seems to be an entertainment-only experience, not dining.
During the pause in The Diamond Horseshoe’s table-service dining over the summer, guests won’t have to venture far to find a substitute. Liberty Tree Tavern, a table-service restaurant directly next door, serves the same menu at the same price. The photo above is from Liberty Tree Tavern, but could just as well be from The Diamond Horseshoe.
The temporary closure of The Diamond Horseshoe may cause more demand for reservations at Liberty Tree Tavern and Magic Kingdom restaurants overall, simply because there will be one fewer dining room open during a busy time of year. See our guide to Disney World dining reservations to plan the meals for your trip.
When Magic Kingdom opened in 1971, The Diamond Horseshoe hosted a full-scale musical production called The Diamond Horseshoe Saloon Revue. The show performed for decades. It’s nice to see the space return to its entertainment roots, if only for a few months.
