Disney has released new room details for the upcoming Disney Vacation Club Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows. This newest DVC tower expands availability at one of the most popular Walt Disney World resorts and boasts views of Magic Kingdom.

The first look at the rooms at the new Polynesian DVC Tower gives us an idea of the theming (including one of the most popular Disney animated films!) and the variety of room types offered. Booking Now Open for New Island Tower!

DVC Tower Poly

The new Island Tower coming to Polynesian Villas & Bungalows will have a beautiful waterfront view of Magic Kingdom with design elements inspired by the South Pacific islands. The 10-story tower's architecture was inspired by early concept art of the Polynesian Resort from Walt Disney Imagineering.

The Polynesian Island Tower is projected to open December 17th 2024 which is just in time for the holiday season at Walt Disney World and just a close monorail ride away from the International Festival of the Holidays.

Starting today, Disney Vacation Club members can make rental reservations by contacting Member Services at (800) 800-9800. Members will be able to make points-based reservations at a later date.

June 5th bookings open for Walt Disney World Annual Passholders and June 6th all other guests can start making reservations.

NEW Polynesian DVC Tower Room Types

DVC Moana Rooms Poly

The new Polynesian DVC Island Tower will feature duo studios which are perfect for smaller groups and will be the most affordable rooms available in this new addition. The concept art above shows the airy, modern design of this studio. All of the artwork in these rooms feature callbacks to Polynesian design and some hints to the animated film Moana.

There will also be deluxe studios that can more easily accommodate groups of up to four. These studios will include a dishwasher which is a first for any DVC deluxe studio offering.

There is also the option of one or two bedroom villas that sleep up to five. The artwork in these villas showcase the “voyager's journey” on land and sea. These rooms feature a kitchen with full-size appliances, a dining area, a washer and dryer, and an outdoor patio area.

NEW Luxury Room Option

DVC Penthouse Tower

The new Island Tower will also introduce, for the first time, two-bedroom penthouse villas. These villas are themed after the “calming balance between water and the islands” and can sleep up to eight guests. The villas include a spacious living room and views of the Seven Seas Lagoon and Magic Kingdom from the large patio balcony.
