First Look at Food Items & NEW Souvenir Shop Offerings for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure

Tiana's Bayou Adventure is the reimagining of the prior Splash Mountain ride into a Princess and the Frog theme opening at Walt Disney World on June 28th.  This is one of the highly anticipated attractions at Magic Kingdom with previews filling up quickly.

Walt Disney World released a guide full of new food items plus a NEW souvenir sipper to celebrate Tiana's Bayou Adventure when it officially opens. One item on this list includes an offering that we have waited a long time to see in Magic Kingdom! And we also got the first look at some of the offerings you can purchase at the new Critter Co-Op.

First Look at New Critter Co-Op Food Items

Critter Co-Op is the souvenir shop outside of Tiana's Bayou Adventure in Frontierland. This store is a retheme of the prior Briar Patch gift shop.

We got the first look at some of the snack items featured in Critter Co-Op which include these Green Apple Gummi Frogs and Spicy Butter Toffee Peanuts.

The Critter Co-Op will also offer Mama Odie’s Hot Sauce and Dooky Chase’s Seasonings available in Gumbo Base, Seafood Seasoning, Meat Seasoning, and Fried Chicken Seasoning flavors.

This is the first time these seasonings have been offered outside of Dooky Chase’s Restaurant in New Orleans. These items will all be available starting June 28th with the seasonings also for sale in the Emporium.

Tiana's Bayou Adventure Food Guide

The most exciting thing in this food guide are the beignets returning to Magic Kingdom! Currently, guests at Walt Disney World are just limited to beignets at the Port Orleans Walt Disney World resort.

We did see beignets as a limited time offering as part of the Celebrate Soulfully celebration earlier this spring and it looks like they will be returning as part of the celebration for Tiana's Bayou Adventure. There is also a new sipper themed to Princess and the Frog! I would personally love to see a popcorn bucket added to the lineup but a sipper is also a great souvenir.

Magic Kingdom Park 

Golden Oak Outpost (Available June 28 through September 6) 

• Hot Honey Chicken with Sweet Potato Fries: Chicken nuggets tossed in hot sauce-honey served with New Orleans olive relish and Cajun-spiced sweet potato fries (New) 
• Shrimp Gumbo with Sweet Potato Fries: Shrimp and Andouille sausage gumbo topped with Cajun-spiced sweet potato fries (New) 
• Tiana’s Famous Beignets: Light, sweet, and fluffy beignets with powdered sugar and drizzled with honey

Pinocchio Village Haus (Available June 28 through September 6; mobile order available) 

• Peach Cobbler: Cinnamon panna cotta, peach cobbler, brown sugar streusel, and whipped cream with a Tiana chocolate piece

Plaza Ice Cream Parlor (Available June 28 through September 6) 

• Butter Pecan Praline Sundae: Butter pecan ice cream topped with praline sauce, spiced pecans, and whipped cream

The Plaza Restaurant (Available June 28 through September 6) 

• Tiana’s Chantilly Cake: Vanilla chiffon cake, lemon chantilly, and fresh strawberries topped with a fondant flower and a Tiana chocolate piece

The Friar’s Nook and Outdoor Vending Locations near Cinderella Castle (Available starting June 28, while supplies last) 

• Princess Tiana Sipper (New) (Limit two per person, per transaction)

There is also a brand new Joffrey's blend called Disney Tiana Bayou Beignet. This medium-roasted flavored coffee has hints of honey and powdered sugar and is available at Joffrey’s Coffee and Tea Co. at The Landing at Disney Springs or at Joffrey’s website.
