First Ever Tangled-Themed Ride Coming to Disney Park

New details have been released for the first-ever Tangled-themed ride coming to a Disney Park! Disney fans have long been wishing to see more of Tangled at Disney Parks beyond the themed bathrooms at Magic Kingdom.

Now, they will be able to experience a new boat ride attraction that will take them on a gondola tour as they follow Rapunzel on her “best day ever” and even experience the iconic “I See the Light” lantern scene from the film.

New Tangled Ride Details

Tokyo DisneySea's new Fantasy Springs will be introducing areas themed to beloved Disney stories, including Peter Pan, Frozen, and Tangled in a huge expansion that will be opening this summer. The opening date has now been released. Click below for details.

The themed areas in Fantasy Springs will be introducing new rides and dining experiences, and there will be a new Tangled-themed land called Rapunzel's Forest that includes the dining location The Snuggly Duckling from the film and a Tangled attraction called Rapunzel's Lantern Festival.

You can see an overview of Rapunzel's Forest above with the attraction boats passing by the tower. Guests will head towards the tower where Rapunzel gazes wistfully out and sings “When Will My Life Begin.”

Then, they will see Rapunzel escape the tower with Flynn Rider and visit various locations seen in the film. The ride will feature the iconic “I See the Light” scene between Flynn and Rapunzel with lanterns glowing in the night sky. To be able to experience the beautiful lantern scene from the movie alone is a dream come true for many Tangled fans.
