Access to the new Universal Orlando theme park, Epic Universe, has been complicated with tickets released in stages to select groups and ticket types.

Epic Universe will debut brand new experiences to Universal Orlando like the highly anticipated Dark Universe, a new Wizarding World of Harry Potter area, an expanded Super Nintendo World including a Donkey Kong ride plus a How to Train Your Dragon land.

The next round of access is now available offering the long awaited 1-day tickets for Epic Universe plus 2-day ticket offerings but there is a catch for those interested in opening week.

READ MORE- Reasons Why Epic Universe's Opening Might Not Attract the Massive Crowds Everyone Expects

Epic Universe one day tickets are on sale NOW with availability through the rest of 2025. But there is one catch for guests looking to visit opening week… These one day tickets start on June 1, 2025 which means there are no 1-day tickets available for the general public during opening week. This is likely to control crowds during that opening week in May. Currently, the only guests that will have access to Epic Universe opening week are those that purchased 3-day tickets, annual passholders, and select military passholders.

Epic Universe opens to the public on May 22, 2025. If guests want to access Epic Universe before June 1, 2025 they need to purchase a 3-day park ticket which includes 1-day access to Epic Universe.

Two day tickets starting June 1, 2025 through the end of 2025 are also available for guests looking to visit Epic Universe one day and the other Universal Orlando theme parks a second day.

For guests visiting June 1, 2025 through the end of 2025, you can purchase one day and two day tickets now on Universal Orlando's website.

Make sure to filter your ticket search to “1 day” to see the 1-day ticket options for Epic Universe and filter to “2 days” to see the 2-day ticket options for Epic Universe.

Universal Orlando is using a virtual queue on their ticketing website to control web traffic and as of 10:30 ET the website has been paused due to demand.

Keep an eye on the website if you are trying to secure tickets as sales will likely resume soon. Before ticket sales were paused, the website was glitching and hard to navigate. I did not see any days that were unavailable for tickets at that time but that could change depending on demand.
