Initially, tickets for Epic Universe for the general public will only be available as multi-day ticket options and as part of vacation packages. Additional ticket options, including single day tickets, will go on sale in “the months ahead.”

Multi-day tickets and vacation packages, including reservations for the new Universal Helios Grand Hotel, will go on sale October 22, 2024.

Universal Orlando Annual Passholders will be given the opportunity to purchase single day tickets ahead of the public starting October 24, 2024.

This information was shared with the note that this is the “first phase” of Epic Universe tickets and hotel packages.

Multi-Day Tickets that Include One Day Admission to Universal Epic Universe

  • 3-Day Ticket: enjoy two days of access to Universal Studios Florida and Universal Islands of Adventure, plus one separate day admission to Universal Epic Universe
  • 4-Day Ticket: enjoy three days of access to Universal Studios Florida and Universal Islands of Adventure, plus one separate day admission to Universal Epic Universe
  • 5-Day Ticket: enjoy four days of access to Universal Studios Florida and Universal Islands of Adventure, plus one separate day admission to Universal Epic Universe

For each of the above, guests also have the option to add access to Universal Volcano Bay.

In terms of pricing, we know that the adult tickets will range from $118-$174 per day ($352-$521 total) which includes one day of Epic Universe access. During the initial phase of Epic Universe tickets, only multi-day tickets of three days or longer will be available. Single-day and two-day tickets will be available at a later date before the park opens.

Limiting access to Epic Universe to just 1-day per multi-day ticket is a strategy Universal is utilizing to control crowds.

Epic Universe Vacation Packages

Guests can receive the maximum savings of $200 with a 7-night vacation package that includes:

  • a 5-day ticket that includes four days of access to Universal Studios, Universal Islands of Adventure and Universal Volcano Bay, plus a separate day admission to Universal Epic Universe
  • 7-night hotel accommodations at one of Universal Orlando’s 11 magnificently themed resorts
  • Early Park Admission for Universal Epic Universe, Universal Volcano Bay and either Universal Studios Florida or Universal Islands of Adventure up to one hour before the park opens

The biggest perk of staying on-site for this exciting time to visit Epic Universe is the notable advantage that Epic Universe will be part of Early Park Admission which gives hotel guests an hour of early access before the park opens.

Epic Universe Annual Passholder Single Day Tickets

Epic Universe Harry Potter

Annual Passholders will be given the first opportunity to purchase single-day tickets to Universal Epic Universe before they go on sale to the general public starting October 24, 2024.

This means that access to Epic Universe is NOT included in the annual passholder options that are available right now. Access could be added in the future but it's likely separate for now so Universal can control crowds and access.

Here is the fine print for the Universal Orlando annual pasholder ticket sales:

  • Limit of 6 tickets per transaction (if you have more than 6 Passholders linked to your Account, you will need more than 1 transaction)
  • Ticket prices and availability vary by day. Restrictions apply
  • An allotment of tickets for all dates, including the week of Grand Opening, have been reserved for Passholders
  • 1-day, dated admission is non-transferrable
  • A current and valid Annual or Seasonal Pass is required at time of purchase. 1-day Universal Epic Universe ticket is an entitlement that must be linked to a current and valid Annual or Seasonal Pass at the time of purchase. Linked Annual Pass and photo ID is required for entry at the park.
  • Limit one (1) 1-day Universal Epic Universe ticket per day per Pass. Ticket prices and availability vary by day. Daily pricing is visible within the Web Store price calendar to see exact ticket price for your preferred day of visitation. Additional restrictions apply.

Notice that tickets are limited to one annual passholder per day, per pass meaning that you cannot purchase tickets for the same day for non-annual passholders. Universal also notes in that fine print that a certain amount of tickets have been set aside to prioritize Annual Passholders including the Grand Ppening week.

Epic Universe Single Day Tickets

Mario land

Single day tickets for the general public will go on sale “in the months ahead” with the first batch of single day tickets being available to annual passholders first.

The sale date for annual passholders for single day tickets starts on October 24, 2024 so the sale date for single day tickets will come after that. The interesting language of “in the months ahead” shared by Universal Orlando hints that single day tickets might not be available for quite some time yet.

This makes sense as it is most advantageous for Universal Orlando to prioritize access to Epic Universe with the sales of multi-day tickets and vacation packages. If you want to experience Epic Universe right when it opens, your best bet is to purchase multi-day tickets or a vacation package because it's unclear at the moment how many single day tickets will be left for that grand opening week!

Do You Need Reservations for Epic Universe?

Frankenstein dark ride

According to Universal Orlando, guests do not need to make a reservation to enter Epic Universe. When purchasing multi-day tickets guests will be prompted to enter the start date they want their multi-day ticket to be valid and then you will be able to visit any of the parks beginning on that date.

Universal also shared that guests will be guaranteed access to Epic Universe as long as they have their ticket as they plan to “manage attendance at Universal Epic Universe” to provide the best experience possible. As part of that process, “ticket inventory and capacity will be controlled” so all guests that purchase tickets can enter the park.

This also means that ticket inventory will be limited, especially for that Grand Opening week, so make sure to get your tickets the instant they go on sale if you want to visit Epic Universe!
