Disneyland has three on-property hotels that all come with steep prices which makes Disneyland hotel discounts extremely sought after. The Disneyland Hotel, Grand Californian, and Pixar Place hotel are all popular options that come with perks like Early Entry and are in close proximity to the theme parks.

Disneyland Resort offers a variety of discounts for their hotels but the most common one we track are the seasonal discounts throughout the year. Sometimes these discounts are released unpredictably which can make planning whether you want to splurge on an on-site hotel stay difficult.

What Disneyland Hotel Discounts Are Available?

There are a variety of different Disneyland hotel discounts we see offered throughout the year such as:

• Disney Visa Cardmembers (credit and debit) discounts
• Magic Key holder discounts that average 20% to 25% off hotel stays
• Military discounts
• Discounts available to all guests

Disneyland Historical Discounts

Disneyland follows a pretty set pattern for when they offer hotel discounts throughout the year. This is good information to have as it can help you plan when are the best times throughout the year to visit for discounts. Disneyland only has three on-property hotels so in comparison to Walt Disney World, you will see generally higher prices at their three hotels since there are not as many options. This makes trying to plan for a discount even more helpful!

Keep in mind that these discounts usually apply to Sunday through Thursday nights and won't be applied to weekend nights. These discounts range from 10% to 30% with the higher range of discounts applied to the most costly hotel and premium rooms. Some room types are excluded.

Disneyland Hotel Historical Discount Trends

There are certain times of the year that are often excluded from Disneyland discounts! From looking at our lists below of the past two years, there are some notable trends.

Discounts typically are not offered the first week of January, most of the month of October, and the last two weeks of August. Every other time of year offers some type of discount.

As far as the highest discount level, you'll see the largest discounts during January through March and June through September with discount offers reaching nearly 25% up this past year. The most minimal discount you will see are the discounts that run from end of October through middle of December which tends to not go above 15% off for all guests or Disney Visa cardmembers.

Disneyland 2025 Released Hotel Discounts

Here are all the discounts that have been released so far for the Disneyland hotels for the 2025 year.

• January 7 through March 20
  • Save up to 25% (weekdays or weekends)- select stays at a Disneyland Resort hotel of 4 nights or more
  • Save up to 20% (Sunday through Thursday nights)- Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, Disneyland Hotel, and The Villas at Disneyland Hotel
  • Save up to 10% (Sunday through Thursday nights)- select stays at Pixar Place Hotel
• May 16 through September 26
  • Save up to 30% on select stays of 4 or more nights at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, Disneyland Hotel, The Villas at Disneyland Hotel, and Pixar Place Hotel

Disneyland 2024 Past Hotel Discounts

Here are all the discounts that were released for the Disneyland hotels for the 2024 year.

• January 15th- March 7th
  • All guests save 20% at Grand Californian, 15% at Disneyland Hotel and The Villas at Disneyland Hotel
  • Disney Visa cardholders save up to 25% for 4-night stays or longer on select rooms at Grand Californian, Disneyland Hotel and The Villas at Disneyland Hotel
  • Magic Key Annual Passholders save 25% at Grand Californian, 20% at Disneyland Hotel and The Villas at Disneyland Hotel
• March 11th- June 6th
  • All guests save 15-10% at Grand Californian, 10% at Disneyland Hotel and The Villas at Disneyland Hotel
  • Disney Visa cardholders save up to 25% for premium rooms at Grand Californian, Disneyland Hotel and The Villas at Disneyland Hotel
  • Magic Key Annual Passholders save 20% for premium rooms and 15% for standard rooms at Grand Californian, Disneyland Hotel and The Villas at Disneyland Hotel
• June 10th- September 26th
  • All guests save 25% for 4 night stays or longer or 20% for all stays at Grand Californian, Disneyland Hotel and The Villas at Disneyland Hotel
  • Disney Visa cardholders save up to 30% for premium rooms and 20% for standard rooms at Grand Californian, Disneyland Hotel and The Villas at Disneyland Hotel

  • All guests save 15% at Grand Californian and Disneyland Hotel, 10% at Paradise Pier
