Disneyland has been going all out with its seasonal character dining experiences recently! This holiday season, a new character dining dinner experience called Mickey’s Christmas Carol Feast will debut! This will feature Mickey, Minnie, Clarabelle, Scrooge McDuck, and Goofy dressed up as the characters from “A Christmas Carol.” See the concept art below!

Daisy’s Holiday Pajama Party will be offered at Storytellers Cafe for breakfast and brunch, which is the same as the Mickey's Pajama Party concept from last year but features Daisy and Donald in the character lineup instead. See the concept artwork for this below!

In addition to these new changes, popular experiences from last year will return as well, including Goofy’s Kitchen Celebrates the Holidays! and Holiday Tea with Santa and Mrs. Claus at Hearthstone Lounge. Broken Spell Lounge at the Disneyland Hotel will also have a holiday-themed beverage menu, offering “creative twists on classics like hot chocolate and eggnog, paired with live jazz music on select days.”

Disneyland also revealed a first look at the character outfits that Mickey and Minnie will be wearing during the holiday celebration! These outfits are a “holiday spin” on their 70th anniversary outfits, featuring a holiday color scheme of greens, reds, and golds. These new outfits look super cute!

Disneyland also confirmed which Disneyland 70th anniversary entertainment experiences will be offered during the holiday season. The most noteworthy news is that the new show “World of Color Happiness!” will continue, instead of the seasonal “World of Color – Season of Light” show that usually plays during this time of year. This is an all-new show that debuted for the 70th anniversary, so it makes sense that they would want to keep this running through the entire celebration.

The “Tapestry of Happiness” projection show, which is one of our top 70th anniversary offerings, will also continue to show. Paint the Night and other entertainment experiences will pause during the holiday season and resume at a later date. You can still enjoy some anniversary decorative touches around the resort and the in-park experiences like the Key to Disneyland scavenger hunt and MagicBand+ stations and freebies.

Returning Christmas Experiences

In addition to the new changes detailed above, there will also be several favorite returning experiences this year! Disneyland Park will offer its iconic “Believe…In Holiday Magic!” fireworks and “A Christmas Fantasy Parade and holiday attraction overlays including Haunted Mansion Holiday and “it's a small world” Holiday. Santa will stay in his new location at Fantasyland Theatre, where there will also be craft-making, sing-alongs, and photo ops with characters and Santa. The Holiday Time at the Disneyland Resort Guided Tour is returning as well!

Over at Disney California Adventure, the two Christmas overlays “Luigi's Joy to the Whirl” and “Mater's Jingle Jamboree” will be offered. The Disney Festival of Holidays returns, featuring food marketplaces across the park and special entertainment like the “Disney ¡Viva Navidad! Street Party.” The two new holiday shows from last year, “Mirabel's Gifts of the Season” and “A Musical Christmas with Mariachi Alegría de Disneyland & Miguel!” will return as well.
