RESERVATIONS NOW OPEN – This New Disneyland Christmas Offering Will Sell Out Immediately

Christmas at Disneyland is right around the corner, bringing returning favorites as well as several new experiences! Disney just announced a surprise new offering for the celebration that we anticipate will be extremely popular.

Among the Christmas offerings this year are some fun holiday-themed dining experiences at the Disneyland Resort Hotels and Downtown Disney. These offerings bring even more fun to a visit during Christmas at Disneyland which is already a favorite time of year for many to visit!

Disney just shared more details on a new holiday experience at the Grand Californian, which you can read about below! Article updated with information on reservations and on sale.

This year, there will be a new holiday experience offered at Disney's Grand Californian called Holiday Tea with Santa and Mrs. Claus at Hearthstone Lounge. 

Holiday Tea with Santa and Mrs. Claus at Hearthstone Lounge will be a special tea party with Santa and Mrs. Claus. The experience will feature a selection of premium loose leaf teas, tea sandwiches, and more treats. Highlights include caprese salad, shrimp salad, prime Holstein tea sandwiches, truffled Christmas egg, and scones. Here is a look at the food below!

For this holiday tea experience, you can choose from a Classic Tea, Premium Tea, or Deluxe Tea experience. The Deluxe Tea includes strawberries and chantilly cream and a glass of champagne.

Guests will be able to get a picture with Santa and Mrs. Claus and interact with them “as they share stories of the joy of holiday baking with family and friends.” Disney shared that during the experience, you may hear “Jingle Bells” playing in the restaurant.

Holiday Tea with Santa and Mrs. Claus at Hearthstone Lounge will take place on select days from December 3 through December 24, 2024. UPDATE! Bookings are NOW open for there offering. The experience will only be offered during the week between 11 am and 3 pm on the following days.

• Monday, 12/9-Thursday, 12/12

• Monday, 12/16-Thursday, 12/19

• Monday, 12/23-Tuesday, 12/24

We anticipate this offering will sell out extremely quickly! The holiday tea format is a bit unique from the other two holiday dining offerings this year at Storytellers Cafe and Goofy's Kitchen. The tea experience sounds like it will be lots of fun for kids and adults alike, and Hearthstone Lounge has the perfect, cozy atmosphere for it.

This new experience is another version of the already popular experience offered at Naples. They have an opportunity to enjoy dining with Santa at Naples Ristorante e Bar in Downtown Disney. The Breakfast with Santa ticketed event, offered on select days from November 27 to December 24, 2024, will allow guests to enjoy breakfast, decor, holiday activities, treats, and more, as well as the opportunity to greet Santa and his elves.

Before it closed, that brunch used to be a holiday offering at Catal Restaurant where you could enjoy breakfast with Santa, which was super popular and would sell out each year.

This new holiday tea experience at Disney's Grand Californian looks really cute and will be a great addition to the numerous offerings all across the resort that make Christmas at Disneyland such a special time to visit!
