Best Disney World Resort Lounges. I’m Local and Enjoy These Bars Every Week.

Nowhere else in the world will you find a more eclectic collection of lounges and bars than at the Disney World resort hotels.

Walt Disney World is known for its unique theme parks with its classic attractions, thrilling rides, and one-of-a-kind shows. But while many flock to the theme parks for the rides and attractions, the vast majority of Disney World guests miss out on the lounges and bars outside the theme parks. And of those that know of the most popular ones, most of them miss out on the hidden gems at the Disney World resort hotels.

As Orlando locals, we visit the Disney World resorts weekly and frequent the lounges and bars more than I like to admit. What I will admit though is how my favorite bars just so happen to be some of the least-visited bars on Disney World property. That’s why we want to share with you my top 10 lounges and bars at the Disney World resort hotels. You can see our overall favorite Disney World bars here.

You can also see our ranking of the best Disney World restaurants across the resort for our top dining recommendations.

How We Rated the Best Disney World Resort Lounges

Riviera Resort

Whether or not you prefer to drink adult beverages, the lounges and bars on this list are most certainly worth a visit.

Sure, the average guest may look for the bar that has the tastiest and most unique drinks. They may be looking for the best bang for their buck. But there’s just one issue with that.

Being on Disney property, there is so much more to the lounges and bars than just the drinks. And besides, several of the lounges on this list even offer non-alcoholic mixed drinks that are worth writing home about.

Here’s how we rated the lounges and bars on our list:

  • Location: The lounges and bars on our list are situated in very different locations, with each location offering unique benefits and amenities that make them truly shine
  • Theming: In keeping with the theming of their resort location, each of the lounges and bars on this list make you want to stay to soak in the atmosphere
  • Food: While there are many lounges and bars that are well-known for their mixed drinks, it’s the ones that also offer incredible food options that made our list
  • Variety of Drinks: Finally, no lounge or bar could not make this list without a list of mixed drinks that truly elevate your experience

With each of the lounges and bars on this list, you’ll want to know the most important information on how to access them. This will include a description of why it made our list, where it’s located, its operating hours, and how to get to it. That way on your next visit to Disney World, you’ll know exactly which lounge will fit your preferences.

Let’s dive into our list of top lounges and bars at the Disney World resort hotels.

Three Bridges Bar and Grill

Three Bridges

Location: Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort
Hours: 4:30pm – 12:00am

Where else can you hang out at a lounge in the middle of a lake?

Situated in the middle of Villa del Lago and literally connected by three bridges, this outdoor open-air bar has a great mix of Spanish, Mexican, and Southwestern theming. While the drink menu as a whole is decent, the sangrias are arguably the best you’ll find on Disney property. And the food menu is where this bar really shines!

Three Bridges Bar and Grill at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort is the perfect place to relax and unwind after a long day in the theme parks.

Crew’s Cup Lounge

Crews Cup Lounge

Location: Disney’s Yacht Club Resort
Hours: 4:00pm – 11:00pm

Crew’s Cup Lounge at Disney’s Yacht Club is often overlooked and overshadowed by its sister restaurant Yachtsman Steakhouse.

This is understandable. Yachtsman is one of the best table-service restaurants at Disney World (and one of our all-time favorites). However, that’s also one of the reasons its worth visiting. Not only does it share some of the same delicious food items and delectable drinks you’ll find at Yachtsman Steakhouse. It also shares similar decor to its sister restaurant, with its nautical theming inviting you to step into its cozy interior.

Crew’s Cup Lounge is one of the most underrated lounges in all of Disney property.

Abracadabar

Abracadabar

Location: Disney’s BoardWalk
Hours: 4:00pm – 12:00am

Located between Trattoria Al Forno and Flying Fish, Abracadabar is one of the most uniquely themed lounges in all of Disney World in one of the best locations on property.

Taking you back in time, Abracadabar is themed as the hangout spot for the most famous magicians and illusionists. When you walk in, everything everything you see makes it a standout lounge with its Victorian era theming, beautiful trim, mirrors, booths, and tables. It also has incredible detailing along the walls, including Easter Eggs and magical posters with magicians disappearing and reappearing! To match its theming, many of options on the drink menu feature unique tasting cocktails that aren’t overbearingly sweet. And if you’re looking for non-alcoholic drinks, many of the drink options can come without the alcohol.

While this lounge has a very limited food selection, its incredible theming, prime location near EPCOT, and solid selection of cocktails and liquors more than makes up for what it lacks.

Scat Cat’s Club – Lounge

Scat Cats Club

Location: Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter
Hours: 5:00pm – 12:00am
Live Music Schedule: Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays 7:30pm – 12:00am

Scat Cat’s Club Lounge is one of the only Disney World hotel lounges that features live music.

In keeping with the theming of Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter, Scat Cat’s Club Lounge is a New Orleans-style lounge that feels just like you’re stepping into an intimate jazz club in French Quarter. And while its drink menu features a mix of both standard and unique cocktails, the food menu here is everything to write home about. With the lounge being located in the hotel lobby, walking out and into the heart of French Quarter makes this lounge extra special.

For the live music alone, Scat Cat’s Club Lounge is certainly worth the visit. But tack on the solid drink menu and wonderful food, and you’ve got an incredible lounge.

Geyser Point Bar and Grill

Geyser Point

Location: Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
Hours: 11:00am – 11:00pm

Another incredible and underrated lounge resides over at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge.

An outdoor, open-air bar located right by the waters of Bay Lake, Geyser Point Bar and Grill keeps the inspiration of the national parks and cabins of the Pacific Northwest. And with a solid drink menu and food menu worth coming back for again and again, there’s a good reason that this bar is popular in the evenings. Speaking of great food, you’ll find one of the best burgers on property here.

When you visit, make sure to stay for the unique views of Magic Kingdom’s fireworks – and the Electrical Water Pageant!

Territory Lounge

Territory Lounge

Location: Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
Hours: 4:00pm – 10:00pm

It’s rare to find more than one bar at the same Disney World hotel that’s worth the visit, but Territory Lounge at Disney's Wilderness Lodge just can’t be passed up.

Located right next to Artist Point, Territory Lounge is often overlooked and underrated. In continuing with the resort’s theming, Territory Lounge is a love letter to exploring the Pacific Northwest, with beautiful wood furnishings, shadowboxes with different old fashioned camping items, and even 2 carved statues of bears that “hold up” the top of the bar. And unlike many of the bars that are attached to restaurants, Territory Lounge’s does not share the exact same menu as Artist Point but still offers great quality in its food, making it unique and well-worth the visit.

If you’re a fan of Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, Territory Lounge is a must-visit hidden gem of the Disney World resorts.

Narcoossee’s Bar

Narcoossee’s

Location: Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa
Hours: 5:00pm – 9:30pm

Right along the shore of Seven Seas Lagoon, Narcoossee’s offers one of the best upscale bar experiences on Disney property.

Because it's tucked away at the back of Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, you’ll often find that the Narcoossee’s bar isn’t busy. Yet because it shares the same food and drink menu as the Narcoossee’s restaurant (which is one of the most romantic restaurants on Disney property), it’s worth visiting again and again and again. Step inside, enjoy the subtle-but-elegant beach theming, and immerse yourself in the wonderful food and drink options here.

And we can’t fail to mention that on the outdoor deck of the restaurant, you’ll get one of the best views of the Electrical Water Pageant along Seven Seas Lagoon the fireworks at Magic Kingdom.

Topolino’s Terrace Bar

Topolino’s Terrace

Location: Disney’s Riviera Resort
Hours: 5:00pm – 9:30pm

With the Topolino’s Terrace restaurant being one of our top table-service restaurants on Disney property, it’s no surprise that the bar makes this list.

At the bar, you’ll find the same elegant theming that doesn’t feel stuffy. Yet as popular as the restaurant gets, the bar is rarely busy. The bar can also accommodate at least 20 guests. In the end you win because the bar shares the exact same menu as the restaurant. This means you get to choose from an excellent list of food and drink options – without an advanced dining reservation. And with the bar located at the top floor of Disney’s Riviera Resort, you’ll get magnificent best views of Walt Disney World.

The best part: being able to watch the EPCOT fireworks from the outdoor terrace.

California Grill Bar

California Grill

Location: Disney’s Contemporary Resort
Hours: 5:00pm – 10:00pm

Much like the Topolino’s Terrace bar, the California Grill bar gives you magnificent (arguably better) views of Walt Disney World along with elegant but cozy theming.

However, unlike the Topolino’s Terrace bar, the California Grill Bar fills up incredibly quickly because of its extremely limited seating. Arrive just before the bar opens however and you’ll have access to the same drink and food menu that guests have at the restaurant. And believe me, the drink menu here is excellent. One of the best perks of dining at the bar is being able to split the pre-fixe menu with one other person, making it a great spot to take your date.

With its excellent food and drink menu, elegant theming, and access to an outdoor terrace to view Magic Kingdom’s fireworks, you simply cannot go wrong here.

Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto

Trader Sam’s

Location: Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort
Hours: 3:00pm – 12:00am

Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto is the epitome of themed lounges at Disney World.

Distinctly different from Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar at Disneyland Resort, Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto offers up many of the same food and drink items as its West Coast location along with several other unique options. I am not kidding you when I say that every single drink on this menu is worth trying at least once. Located in Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, this lounge’s theming evokes the feel of the South Pacific. And the fun interactive elements of this lounge that only happens when you order specific drinks truly elevates your experience here.

Arrive extra early though, as Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto is one of the most popular lounges on Disney property!

Which Disney World Hotel Bar is My Favorite? (It's not Trader Sam's)

Narcoossee’s

Personally, my favorite spots at Disney World tend to be the ones that are along the “road less traveled.”

Yes, I rank my top bar because of its drink choices, food, and theming. But even the bar with the best tasting drinks and best theming wouldn't rank highest on my list if it was located where everybody can easily visit it. That's why Trader Sam's Grog Grotto doesn't make the top of my list. Instead, what puts my favorite bar head-and-shoulders over the others on this list isn't just the drink, food, and theming.

It's the location.

The best bar has all of those factors mentioned earlier – all housed in a location that's somewhat remote but offers some of the best views of Disney World. It's close enough to where it doesn't feel like a chore to visit, but far enough to where most guests rarely see it. Or if they do, they don't realize it even exists.

The Narcoossee's bar ticks off all those boxes.

It's got some of the best food of any restaurant at Disney World. Its drink choices are both unique, extremely tasty, and reasonably priced for a table-service restaurant bar. Its theming is subtle and charming. It's tucked away from the business of the Grand Floridian, making it feel like a secret bar. And most of all, it gives you crystal clear views of the Magic Kingdom fireworks and the Electrical Water Pageant.

My favorite dish: Lobster Bisque (appetizer), Roasted Vegetable Paella (entree)

My favorite drink: Tawny Manhattan (however the Salted Mascarpone Espresso Martini is very popular)

My favorite time to visit: Just as the sun sets during the summer. Soon after sunset, you get to watch the Magic Kingdom fireworks right before watching the Electrical Water Pageant
