Disney World Annual Pass Blockout Dates 2024-2025

Walt Disney World offers four types of annual passes which include the Disney Pixie Dust Pass, Disney Pirate Pass, Disney Sorcerer Pass, and Disney Incredi-Pass. With the exception of the Disney Incredi-Pass which has no Disney World blockout dates, Disney World annual passes have multiple days on which they cannot be used for theme park admission.

Currently, the Incredi-Pass is the only Disney World annual pass available for purchase if you are not a Florida resident or Disney Vacation Club (DVC) member. Florida residents have the option to purchase any of the four passes, and Disney Vacation Club (DVC) members can purchase either the Incredi-Pass or Sorcerer Pass.

As a Disney World passholder and Florida resident who frequently visits Disney World, I often check the blockout dates to make sure I am able to visit the parks. In this article I will list the Disney World passholder blockout dates for 2024-2025. We will also discuss the cost of each annual pass, annual passholder perks, and annual passholder add-ons available for purchase.

Disney Incredi-Pass Blockout Dates 2024-2025

Disney World block out dates

As previously mentioned, the Disney World Incredi-pass has NO blockout dates! As you can expect, this annual pass is priced the highest at $1,449 plus tax. If you are a Florida resident, you also have the option to use the Florida Resident Monthly Payment Program which would cost an initial down payment of $205 and then $112 per month. See everything you need to know about the Incredi-Pass and its benefits in our full guide

Unfortunately for non-Florida residents and non-DVC members, this is currently the only available option if you wish to purchase an annual pass. Additionally, the Incredi-Pass is priced $450 more than the next tier, which to many people, is very costly. However, the lack of blockout dates is extremely convenient for Incredi-passholders especially during peak times and holidays which are typically blocked out for other passholders. Also, for those who visit Disney World more than a couple weeks per year, it is still a great deal. It is also important to consider the other perks and discounts passholders receive with the cost of an annual pass, which I detail more below.

Disney Sorcerer Pass Blockout Dates 2024-2025

Disney World block out dates

The second highest tier of Disney World annual passes is the Sorcerer Pass, which is currently priced at $999 plus tax. Florida residents can also take advantage of the Florida Resident Monthly Payment Program which would cost $205 down and $72 per month for the Sorcerer Pass. See everything you need to know about the Sorcerer Pass and its benefits in our full guide

If you are a Florida resident or DVC Member, this is a good option if you plan to visit Disney World at any time except Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's. The only blockout dates for the Sorcerer Pass include the surrounding weeks during these holidays, which is likely because Disney World typically experiences the largest crowds during these weeks.

The blockout dates for the Sorcerer Pass include:

November 2024: 27th-30th

December 2024: 19th-31st

January 2025: 1st-2nd

Disney Pirate Pass Blockout Dates 2024-2025

Disney World block out dates

The next lowest tier is the Disney Pirate annual pass which is currently priced at $799 plus tax. Unfortunately for most, this pass is only available to purchase if you are a Florida resident. Florida residents also have the option to purchase this pass using the Florida Resident Monthly Payment Program. Florida residents would have to pay $205 down and $54 per month using this payment program for the Pirate Pass. See everything you need to know about the Pirate Pass and its benefits in our full guide

The blockout dates for the Pirate Pass apply to most of the holiday and peak seasons throughout the year. This is a popular pass for Florida residents because locals have a much easier commute to the parks and do not have to wait until the holidays to visit. Additionally, local passholders usually like to avoid the large crowds during holiday seasons and opt for the Pirate Pass which is valid during slower times.

The 2024-2025 Disney Pirate Pass Blockout dates include:

February 2024: 17th-19th (President’s Day weekend)

March 2024: 18th-31st (Spring break)

April 2024: 1st-6th (Spring break)

May 2024: 25th-27th (Memorial Day weekend)

July 2024: 3rd-6th (Fourth of July weekend)

August 2024: 31st (Labor Day weekend)

September 2024: 1st-2nd (Labor Day weekend)

November 2024: 22nd-30th (Thanksgiving)

December 2024: 19th-31st (Christmas and New Year's)

January 2025: 1st-3rd (New Year's) and 18th-20th (Martin Luther King Jr. weekend)

February 2025: 15th-17th (President’s Day weekend)

Disney Pixie Dust Pass Blockout Dates 2024-2025

Disney World block out dates

The Disney Pixie Dust Pass is the lowest tier annual pass and is currently priced at $439 plus tax. This pass is also currently only available for purchase by Florida residents. The Florida Resident Monthly Payment Program would cost $205 down and only $22 per month. See everything you need to know about the Pixie Dust Pass and its benefits in our full guide

Although the cost is very low for the Pixie Dust Pass, this pass has by far the most blockout dates. Pixie Dust passholders cannot visit the theme parks on any Saturday or Sunday throughout the year. Additionally, peak and holiday periods are also blocked out during certain weekdays.

Besides every Saturday and Sunday throughout the year, the following blockout dates apply:

February 2024: 19th (President's Day)

March 2024: 18th-29th (Spring Break)

April 2024: 1st-5th (Spring Break)

May 2024: 27th (Memorial Day)

July 2024: 3rd-5th (Fourth of July weekend)

September 2024: 2nd (Labor Day)

October 2024: 14th (Columbus Day)

November 2024: 22nd-29th (Thanksgiving)

December 2024: 19th-31st (Christmas and New Year's)

January 2025: 1st-3rd, 20th (New Year's and Martin Luther King Jr. weekend)

February 2025: 17th (President's Day)

Disney World Annual Passholder Add-Ons

Disney World block out dates

If you are planning on purchasing a Disney World annual pass, you should also consider the two different add-ons available for purchase for $99 each plus tax. Florida residents using the Florida Resident Monthly Payment Program can also add the cost of these add-ons into their monthly payment plan. I personally have purchased both of these add-ons for my annual pass, and think they are both great options for a heavily discounted price.

Disney World annual pass add-ons include:

  • Disney Photo Pass Downloads: for an additional $99, passholders can purchase the digital downloads of photos taken on select attractions and locations throughout the parks. I highly recommend purchasing this add-on because typically photo downloads, also known as the memory maker package, cost $185 for a 30-day time frame (or $210 if not purchased in advance). Guests can also purchase a memory maker one-day package for $75. Therefore, $99 is a great deal for one year. These photo pass downloads also include fun “magic shots” taken by cast members which are photos with a special surprise, such as a frame or Disney character, added to your photo. If you are purchasing multiple annual passes in your family, only one person needs to purchase the photo pass add-on. That way, you can save some money, and whoever has the add-on can download the pictures and share them with the rest of the family.

  • Water Park and Sports Option: for an additional $99, passholders can purchase the water park and sports option which gives admission to Disney World’s water parks, golf courses, and other sports experiences. The admission to these experiences have no blockout dates and includes the following:

Disney World Annual Passholder Perks

No matter what tier of Disney World annual pass you purchase, there are many perks annual passholders receive besides admission to the theme parks. These perks include free parking, discounts on merchandise, dining, and entertainment, seasonal limited time offerings, and V.I.Passholder support exclusively offered for annual passholders. These perks are included in every Disney World annual pass regardless of tier level.

Free Theme Park Parking

All annual passholders receive free standard parking at all Disney World theme parks with a valid annual pass and photo ID. If you are interested in preferred parking, annual passholders can simply pay the difference between standard and preferred parking.

Disney World resort guests also receive free parking during the length of their hotel stay. However, this perk is a great option especially if you are visiting just for the day or if you are staying off property.

Standard parking normally costs $30 per day, and preferred parking costs between $45 and $55 per day depending on the season.

Annual Passholder Discounts

Annual passholders receive discounts on many events and experiences throughout Disney World property. Although not all restaurants and retail stores accept passholder discounts, chances are they do, so always make sure to ask when making any purchase at Disney World. Annual passholders receive discounts in the following categories:

  • Dining: Annual passholders receive a 10% discount on most table service restaurants at Disney World theme parks, Disney World resorts, Disney Springs, and the ESPN Wide World of Sports Grill.
  • Merchandise: Annual passholder receive a 20% discount on regularly priced merchandise throughout Disney World property including theme parks, resorts, Disney Springs, and the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.
  • Events & Entertainment: Annual passholders also receive discounts on various events and entertainment throughout Disney World property. Some examples include $2 off the AMC movie theatre at Disney Springs, 15% off the Keys to the Kingdom Tour at Magic Kingdom, and 15% off the cost of the Behind the Seeds tour at EPCOT.
  • Sports & Recreation: Annual passholders can take advantage of various discounts related to sports and recreation. Some examples include 15% bike rentals at any Disney World resort marina, and 15% off a regularly priced round of putt-putt for a passholder and up to 3 guests at Fantasia Gardens and Fairways Miniature Golf.
  • After Hours and Special Events: Annual passholders can receive discounts on special events, including after hours and holiday parties. Please note discounts may not be available on events occurring during peak times, but it's always worth checking if you plan to enjoy one of these special events.

V.I.Passholder Support

Annual passholders have access to Disney World’s V.I.Passholder Support for any issues or questions about passes, benefits, or any issues regarding a visit to Disney World. The help center provides a special phone number and e-mail exclusively for annual passholders. This is a nice perk as sometimes the general phone number for Disney customer service has long wait times.

Seasonal Limited Time Offerings

There are several passholder perks offered throughout the year for a limited time. For example, every few months Disney offers a complimentary magnet for annual passholders displaying a different Disney character. There are also special drinks, treats, and merchandise only available to annual passholders. Make sure to check out the Passholder Buzz section of the My Disney Experience App to learn about all of the exclusive Disney World annual passholder seasonal offerings.
