Disney World offers four types of annual passes including the Incredi-Pass, Sorcerer Pass, Pirate Pass, and Pixie Dust Pass. Currently, the only annual pass available to all guests is the Incredi-Pass. The Disney Sorcerer Pass is available for purchase if you are a Florida resident or Disney Vacation Club (DVC) member, and the Pirate and Pixie Dust passes are only available to Florida residents.
Although Disney World annual passes aren't for everyone, there are a lot of benefits to being a passholder if you plan on visiting Disney World multiple times throughout the year! I personally am an annual passholder, Disney Vacation Club (DVC) member, and visit the Disney World parks monthly. Therefore, I frequently benefit from the many perks that come with being a passholder.
The Disney Pixie Dust pass is the cheapest pass totaling only $439 per year, however, this is mainly due to many blockout dates when this annual pass is not valid for theme park entry. The Pixie Dust Pass has the most blockout dates of any annual pass which include weekends and holidays. Despite the long list of blockout dates, the Pixie Dust pass still comes with tons of perks! This article will focus on everything related to the Disney Pixie Dust Pass including the list of blockout dates, pricing, benefits, and discounts!

Disney Pixie Dust Pass Benefits
Many choose to purchase a Disney World annual pass not only to experience the parks multiple times throughout the year, but because of the many benefits that come with being a passholder. The below section includes some of these great perks!
Park Hopping
All Disney World annual passholders can park hop at anytime throughout the day as long as their pass is not blocked out. Disney World tickets with the park hopper option are more expensive than single park tickets, making this a great perk. Although Disney World passholders are still required to make park reservations on most days, they are able to hop to any park at any time once they have entered the park at which they have a reservation. Disney Pixie Dust passholders can make up to three park reservations at a time on a rolling basis.
Passholders with the Disney Pixie Dust Pass are allowed to have up to three park reservations at a time on a rolling basis. If they have Disney World hotel reservations, they can make additional park reservations during the days at which they are staying at their hotel.
Free Standard Theme Park Parking
All Disney World annual passholders are able to park at any theme park for free, they just need to show their annual pass and valid photo ID at the parking gate. Preferred parking is also available, however, passholders would need to pay the difference between preferred and standard parking if they choose preferred parking.
Standard parking typically costs $30, and preferred parking costs between $45 and $55 depending on the season. The only other time guests receive free theme park parking is if they are staying at a Disney World hotel. However, the free parking for passholders is more convenient especially if they are only visiting for the day or staying off Disney property.
Limited Edition Passholder Merchandise and Snacks
Another perk of the Disney Pixie Dust Pass includes access to the infamous passholder magnets that are released every few months, merchandise (shirts, pins, magicbands, etc.), PhotoPass opportunities, and even passholder exclusive snacks! These passholder exclusives frequently change, but there is always something for passholders to look forward to during their next trip to Disney World.
Experience New Attractions Before the Public
When a new attraction opens, such as Tiana's Bayou Adventure, passholders almost always have the chance to experience the ride before it opens to the public! This is such a cool perk that many passholders love. Although new attractions don't open too often, passholder attraction previews are another cool perk to having a Disney Pixie Dust pass!

Disney Pixie Dust Pass Pricing and Add-Ons
The Disney Pixie Dust Pass is the cheapest annual pass due to having the most blockout dates. This pass costs $439 plus tax for the whole year. Those who purchase the Disney Pixie Dust Pass can also utilize the Florida Resident Payment Program to purchase the pass at 0% interest, which requires a $205 down payment and a monthly payment of only $22.
Another perk of being a Disney World annual passholder is the option to purchase add-ons at a discounted rate. For an additional $99 per year, passholders have access to unlimited digital downloads of any photos taken by the PhotoPass cast members throughout the park, including ride photos! I highly recommend purchasing this add-on because typically photo downloads, also known as the memory maker package, cost $185 for a 30-day time frame (or $210 if not purchased in advance). Guests can also purchase a memory maker one-day package for $75. Therefore, $99 is a great deal for one year.
Disney Pixie Dust passholders can also purchase a water park and sports option for $99 per year. This option gives admission to Disney World’s water parks, golf courses, and other sports experiences. The admission to these experiences have no blockout dates! This add-on includes access to:
- Admission to either Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park or Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park (whichever is open)
- Disney’s Oak Trail Golf Course
- FootGolf at Disney’s Oak Trail
- Disney’s Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course (one round prior to 4:00 PM)
- Disney’s Winter Summerland Miniature Golf Course (one round prior to 4:00 PM)
- ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex

Is the Disney Pixie Dust Pass Worth It?
The Disney Pixie Dust Pass can be a great option for Florida residents who don't plan on visiting the parks on weekends or peak times throughout the year. With the price being so low, this pass is definitely worth it if you don't mind the blockout dates! One day park hopper tickets can cost over $200, so just after two or three visits to a Disney World theme park, this pass has already paid for itself! These savings don't even include all of the great annual passholder discounts that come with the Disney Pixie Dust Pass.
Another great perk of having an annual pass is that you don't feel as rushed or pressured to get everything done in a single day, or spend every waking hour inside the theme parks. Annual passes allow guests to enjoy many other amazing things outside of the Disney World theme parks. For example, if you want to spend the day enjoying your Disney hotel, but spend a couple hours at Magic Kingdom at night to watch the fireworks, annual passes are a great perk!
Even without an annual pass, there are always tons of great ways to save money on Disney World tickets! Be sure to check out our ultimate guide to current Disney World ticket and hotel discounts! I also recommend checking out Disney's ticket deals on their website for other current offers.
