Special Entertainment at Mickey’s Very Merry Halloween Party
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party features exclusive, themed events that you cannot experience the rest of the year including a fireworks show, a parade, and special musical performances.
Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade
Many attendees say that Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade is the most magical parade the park offers. Special lighting and music will have you feeling the holiday spirit in no time. You’ll see many seasonal characters dance down Main Street, U.S.A., including gingerbread men, reindeer, and rumor has it that Santa Claus himself may make an appearance! But nothing really compares to the hallmark of the parade: a dazzling snowfall! It will probably be the only time you ever see snow in sunny Orlando, Florida. Plus, enjoy it without bundling up for a storm. What could be better?
The parade kicks off in Frontierland and has two performance times: 8:30 PM and 11:00 PM.
Holiday Wishes – Celebrates the Spirit of the Season Fireworks Show
Join your host Jiminy Cricket for seasonal songs, dazzling lights and projections, pyrotechnics, and of course: stunning fireworks! Sing along to tunes like “Jingle Bells”, “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer”, and “O Christmas Tree” under a gorgeous shimmering sky.
Fireworks begin over Cinderella Castle at 10:00 PM. Line up early for a good spot!
A Totally Tomorrowland Christmas Show
Host Haley Comet will guide you and your family in an out-of-this-world dance party with all of your favorite Tomorrowland characters including Stitch, Buzz Lightyear, and Mike Wazowski! Dance and sing to intergalactic covers of seasonal favorites including “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” and “Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town”.
The event takes place on the Rockettower Plaza Stage in Tomorrowland. Choose from a variety of times to fit in your itinerary: 7:40 PM, 8:30 PM, 9:20 PM, 10:45 PM, and 11:45 PM.
What’s better than one dance party? Two! Join some holly jolly characters and keep the celebration going all night long at Club Tinsel! You’ll find the festivities at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café in Tomorrowland.
A Frozen Holiday Wish
A winter party wouldn’t be complete without the snow queen herself! This special performance features appearances of all your favorites including Anna, Kristoff, and Olaf. The culmination of the performance is when Elsa transforms Cinderella Castle into a sparkling ice castle for everyone to enjoy. This is a definite do-not-miss for all you Frozen fans, and possibly even for those of you who could do without it.
As you probably guessed, this takes place in front of the castle and kicks off at 8:15 PM.
Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration
Mickey has invited over all his friends for a Christmas party, and you’re on the guest list! This fun stage show is one the entire family will enjoy as it’s filled with dancing, singing, beautiful castle projects, and jokes. Characters like Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan, Snow White, Pinocchio, Jessie and Woody, and more will help usher in the holidays and help you feel that seasonal spirit that you haven’t felt since you were a kid. Plus, the snowy, show-stopping finale is one you’ll remember forever.
Choose from several showtimes: 7:40 PM, 9:25 PM, 10:30 PM, and 12:00 AM. Festivities are directly in front of Cinderella Castle.
VoicePlay is a five-party a cappella group that makes appearances throughout the night singing Christmas music on the Rockettower Plaza Stage in Tomorrowland. You may recognize them from NBC’s The Sing Off, and they’ve also performed on Disney Cruiselines. If you love Christmas Carols, you’ll definitely want to hear their tight renditions. Choose between 8:05 PM, 8:55 PM, 10:15 PM, and 11:10 PM.
Meet-and-Greets at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party
During the party, you’ll have the opportunity to meet a handful of characters that are all decked out for Christmas and excited to see you. Lines can get long, so plan ahead if this is at the top of your to-do list.
You’ll find Jack Skellington as Sandy Claws in Storybook Circus, the Seven Dwarfs at the entrance of New Fantasyland, and Minnie and Mickey at more central locations, among others. But one of the biggest treats is getting to see the Country Bears since they’re pretty rare in parks.
Merchandise at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party
The Christmas Party (and Christmastime in general) is a great place to get some holiday shopping done. However, there are some special merchandise picks that are only available during the party, so collectors will definitely want to keep an eye out. Typical party-exclusive items include event apparel, ornaments, trading pins, and MagicBands.
Rides at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party
Do the rides stay open during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party?
All rides in the Magic Kingdom remain open during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Since it’s a special event, that usually means shorter lines which is one of the major perks of attending. Also, many guests are focused on the candy and other entertainment options during the event which can lead to, you guessed it, even shorter lines.
The party doesn’t start until 7:00 PM but you can get in beginning at 4:00 PM. We recommend taking advantage of these few hours to focus solely on rides! Be aware that some rides will close sporadically though, just as they do throughout regular operating hours.

These vary in price but the majority fall around $5 each.
