Disneyland Goofy’s Kitchen Halloween Character Dining Review—2025 Dates, Pricing, Details!

Goofy's Kitchen is a popular destination for Character Dining at Disneyland, with buffet-style meals containing fun food items and appearances from Goofy and other favorite characters. Goofy's Kitchen Halloween is a special offering at this location during Halloween at Disneyland that features Disney characters in fun Halloween attire as well as themed foods inspired by the Halloween season and spooky decor.

The Goofy's Kitchen Halloween experience featuring Goofy and friends is a recent addition to the Halloween season at Disneyland and returned during last year's celebration. We had the opportunity to try this fun Character Dining experience!

When Will Goofy's Kitchen Halloween Be At Disneyland?

Dates have not yet been announced for 2025 Goofy's Kitchen Celebrates Halloween, but you can see last year's dates for reference. We do know that the Halloween season this year starts on August 22, 2025, and last year the Goofy's Kitchen Celebrates Halloween dates aligned with the Halloween celebration. 

Character Dining at Goofy's Kitchen Celebrates Halloween was available last year from August 23 to October 31, providing plenty of time to enjoy the Halloween fun. Reservations opened on August 15, and could be made on the Disneyland app and the Disneyland website. A Magic Key discount can be used for this experience. Goofy's Kitchen is located at the Disneyland Hotel, making for a convenient trip to and from the parks.

Details have not yet been announced for the 2025 Goofy's Kitchen Halloween foods, but you can see last year's offerings for an idea of what kind of foods to expect, meal times, and pricing.

The following meals are available for Goofy's Kitchen Halloween:

Goofy’s Kitchen Breakfast

• 7:00 AM to 10:30 AM

The meal will include highlights like:

• An assortment of baked goods
• Prosciutto and arugula eggs benedict with sun-dried tomato hollandaise
• Orange Mickey waffles
• Made-to-order omelets
• Pumpkin toast with whipped ricotta, cranberry, bacon and candied pecans

Goofy’s Kitchen Halloween Brunch

• 11 AM to 1PM

The brunch buffet will include all of the menu items available for breakfast as well as a carving station with assorted artisan sausages and Chateau Sirloin. Guests can also visit the dessert bar “featuring an array of terrifyingly tasty treats.”

Goofy’s Kitchen Halloween Dinner

• 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM – the last seating of the day will be at 8:45 PM, and Goofy and friends will make their final appearance starting at 9:00 PM

The dinner buffet will feature highlights including:

• Farro and apple salad
• Roasted butternut squash panzanella
• Salmon with brown butter and orange butter sauce with tarragon
• Mole roasted chicken with rosemary garlic black beans
• Cheese ravioli with pumpkin cream sauce
• BBQ pork spare ribs
• A carving station with herb-marinated turkey breast and slow-roasted prime rib
• A happily haunted heap of Halloween-themed desserts

As with any Character Dining experience, we recommend opting for brunch or dinner to keep the morning hours open for enjoying rides with shorter wait times than the rest of the day with our Disneyland morning strategy. That way, you can use the time you'll be spending at Goofy's Kitchen Halloween to escape the crowds when they start to roll in during the late morning/early afternoon.

Goofy's Kitchen Celebrates Halloween Cancellation Policy: you need to cancel at least one day prior to your reservation or else you'll be charged a full-price per-person cancellation fee.

Goofy's Kitchen Halloween Review

We had the opportunity to attend Goofy's Kitchen Halloween for brunch, and we will take you through the highlights of our experience! We really loved the fun, playful atmosphere of the meal and the extensive Halloween theming throughout the experience—from the character costumes to the themed food and music that played in the dining area, this meal was the perfect way to celebrate the start of the Halloween season.

We got to interact with favorite characters in their Halloween outfits including Minnie, Pluto, Chip, and Dale, and a PhotoPass photographer who took our picture with Goofy before the meal (with photos included in the price of this experience). Goofy spent a lot of time having fun with the kids during the photo opportunity, which made for a really memorable experience.

About every 30 minutes, characters paraded around to a fun Halloween song! Characters will also stop at each table to greet guests during the meal, and in our experience, they spent a good amount of time giving hugs and taking photos with the kids. This is a big reason we are such a fan of Character Dining meals, as they give you guaranteed quality time with characters!

Goofy's Kitchen Halloween Foods

Goofy's Kitchen Halloween is offering some “special food items prepared just for the Halloween season,” which we will break down below and share our thoughts on! During brunch, there was a large treat and baked goods area with choices like Halloween marshmallows on a stick, cookies, pumpkin blondies, pumpkin muffins, chocolate cake, and orange jello.

Goofy's Kitchen Halloween at brunch also features a salad bar, fruit bar, create-your-own omelet station, Goofy's Famous Peanut Butter Pizza, and a great mix of breakfast foods including Mickey waffles, orange Mickey pancakes, eggs, bacon, and more. You'll also find lunch items like macaroni and cheese, chicken tenders, and pizza, and a create-your-own ice cream sundae station.

If anyone in your party has food allergies, the chef will walk them around the buffet and let them know what will be safe for them to eat. Our party had a nut allergy, so the chef personally walked us through the buffet and let us know which exact items would not be safe, which we really appreciated.

The kids really loved the ice cream bar and dessert area, and the iconic Mickey waffles were a favorite for everyone at our table. We also thought the salmon and rice was delicious.
