Jungle Cruise, Haunted Mansion, Epcot, 20,000 Leagues Inspire Disney’s Newest Cruise Ship

The Disney Treasure is the newest Disney Cruise Line ship to join the existing fleet of ships. The Disney Treasure is the sister ship to the other most recent cruise ship addition the Disney Wish. The Disney Wish was notable in a few ways in terms of exciting new additions like Disney Cruise Line's first-ever attraction along with new dining experiences that focused on the popular Marvel films.

The Disney Treasure is bringing its own impressive list of new additions to the Disney Crusie Line with a full list of Disney Parks attractions-inspired areas including new lounges and a large eight-person suite. These new venue spaces will be the first time ever we've seen a focus on Disney Parks attractions onboard a Disney Cruise Line ship!

This has never been done before with the Disney Cruise Line and this may be one of the most exciting new announcements about the Disney Treasure.

Read more about the Disney Treasure in our guide covering all new dining, and entertainment, plus the date for the first maiden voyage.

What Disney Ride Themes Will Be in the Disney Treasure?

Disney Cruise Treasure

The Disney Treasure will include themes inspired by the Jungle Cruise, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, and EPCOT's Spaceship Earth.

Among these three confirmed tributes to iconic Disney Parks attractions, the Haunted Mansion was also teased as an inspiration.

You can read more about the new ship and when it is available for booking in our Disney Treasure FAQ.

Jungle Cruise Lounge

Disney Treasure Jungle Cruise

Skipper Society Lounge is the Jungle Cruise-themed lounge created in the vision of higher-end skippers relaxing at the end of their day. This venue features natural colorways along with camp-style furnishings all paying tribute to the famous Jungle Crusie skippers.

This lounge will include references to the Jungle Cruise all through the space including a whimsical monkey-shaped chandelier to postcards and luggage tags.

Jungle Cruise Disney Cruise Line

Guests can enjoy themed cocktails, snacks, and live entertainment underneath a canopy of jungle foliage.

During the media preview, we were shown a brown wooden box with a drink inside with smoke coming out. This may have just been an early stand in for drinks they expect to develop in the future or it could be what some themed drink at the bar may actually be.

The style of this drink is reminiscent of the viral Beauty and the Beast drink, The Rose, featured on the Disney Wish. This drink is served in a tall stem underneath a glass dome, just like the Beast's Rose in the films, and is filled with smoke as the cast member lifts it up to present the drink. Seen below.

This drink costs $50 due to this intense presentation, I will be curious to see what likeness this Jungle Cruise-inspired drink may have with The Rose.

20,000 Leagues Under the Sea Bar

Disney Treasure Parks

Periscope Pub will become the Disney Cruise Line's first venue inspired by Walt Disney’s 1954 film, “20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. This film was also a celebrated Disney Parks attraction that was open at Walt Disney World from 1971 to 1994.

Disney Treasure Parks Themes

The design of this lounge will feature submarine-style interiors along with 19th-century steampunk influences with metal and industrial touches. The lounge also features a window along the ceiling which will make guests feel like Captain Nemo on the Nautilus.

This new lounge will immerse guests inside the nautilus and they might just see the squid go past the mysterious window! The menu will focus on craft brews and light snacks which is fitting with the atmosphere of the lounge.

Spaceship Earth Themed Suite

Disney Treasure EPCOT Suite

Spaceship Earth, sometimes referred to as the EPCOT goofball by casual Disney fans, will receive its own suite inspired by its energetic design. Tomorrow Tower Suite will evoke the atmosphere of EPCOT's World Discovery neighborhood with art pieces, metal accents and futuristic colorful glass.

Disney Treasure EPCOT

This suite is set high up in the ship's forward funnel and will overlook the top deck of the Disney Treasure through a large two-story window. This suite will be massive with nearly 2,000 square feet of space and comfortably sleep eight guests. This suite also includes perks like a full kitchen and a private ensuite elevator.

Haunted Mansion Parlordisney haunted mansion bar

The Disney Treasure will include a brand new Haunted Mansion Bar called the Haunted Mansion Parlor. Full details, concept art, and video footage can be seen in our guide to this new bar featuring everyone's favorite Disney Parks attraction.

It is great to see Disney recognize the love fans have for the Haunted Mansion by continuing to expand its presence both in the Disney Cruise Line and with the recent Haunted Mansion expansion at Disneyland announcement.
