Coco-Themed Dinner Show and Restaurant Coming to Disney For First Time

Disney Cruise Line's newest ship, the Disney Treasure, will take its made voyage in 2024 with brand new dining experiences, a new stage show plus areas inspired by Disney Parks attractions for the first time. There is one brand new experience coming to the Disney Treasure that we are so excited to share and that is the new Coco dinner show! This interactive dining experience is based on the popular Disney and Pixar film Coco and is sure to be a hit with guests.

Plaza de Coco will be the main new dining experience onboard the Disney Treasure although guests can also look forward to a brand new Zootopia-themed sweetshop that will offer a large variety of ice cream, gelato, and candies.

Plaza de Coco will be the first theatrical dining experience themed to the popular film Coco. The Coco dinner show will feature dining tables that surround a central stage in a circular pattern so that way the performances and show effects spread throughout the entire room. The Plaza de Coco dining experience will offer two different dining experiences which will change depending on what night you experience the show. This family-friendly experience is sure to become a favorite for families sailing on the Disney Treasure.

On the first night, the story of Miguel and his familia will continue on from where the movie “Coco” ends. At the end of the film “Coco,” Miguel has successfully brought music into his family's life and built even stronger connections with his family after his adventure into the Land of the Dead. Miguel and his familia will take guests on a music-filled journey that celebrates family memories and togetherness which is a central theme of this popular Disney and Pixar film.

On the second night, Miguel will be reunited with his great-great-grandparents, Hector and Mama Imelda. We see Hector and Mama Imelda in the film “Coco” during his journey into the Land of the Dead and by the end of the film he helps them find each other again. Miguel will transport Hector and Mama Imelda to Santa Cecilia with his magic guitar for a Día de los Muertos celebration.

The dinner menu for Plaza De Coco will feature modern twists on traditional Mexican food along with beverages that the entire family will enjoy. The menu will remain the same both nights of this new Coco dinner show but the interactive story guests experience will change depending on what night they attend.
