Disney Cruise Announces Summer 2026 Sailings Including MORE Alaska Plus New Ships

Disney Cruise Line has announced their 2026 summer cruise itineraries opening up some brand new options including expanded Alaska options, a new stop in Europe, and sailings for their two newest ships!

Disney Cruise Line is in the process of expanding their fleet with the newest ship the Disney Treasure sailing now plus the Disney Destiny and Disney Adventure setting sail at the end of 2025.

Disney Cruises are one of my favorite ways to enjoy Disney while also traveling to new destinations! Let's go over these new itineraries and what we are most excited for next summer.

Disney Cruise Expands Alaska Sailings

Disney Cruises Itineraries Alaska

One of the most exciting piece of this news from the 2026 summer sailings announcement is that the Disney Magic will join the Disney Wonder as a second ship for Alaskan Adventures from Vancouver.

Starting in May 2026 and continuing through September 2026, Disney Magic and Disney Wonder will embark on five-night and seven-night Alaskan cruises from Vancouver, Canada. Ports of call included in these itineraries include Skagway, Juneau and Ketchikan. All of these locations are famous for their prehistoric glaciers, wildlife viewing all while enjoying the natural beauty of Alaska.

One of our favorite cruise experiences was our Alaskan cruise onboard the Disney Wonder, it is an experience we highly recommend to readers! Adding the Disney Magic greatly expands the availability of Alaskan cruises which is a positive thing for guests. I imagine we will see modifications coming to the Disney Magic to prepare for these Alaskan cruises like higher glass walls on the decks to protect guests from wind and ship enhancements to handle breaking through icy water.

New European Port Stop and Transatlantic Cruise

Disney Dream Ship

The Disney Dream will be sailing Europe in summer 2026 making its first ever stop to the island city of Cagliari, located in Sardinia, Italy. This is a brand new destination for Disney Cruise Line! It is always exciting to see new stops added to the Disney Cruise Line itineraries especially for European destinations.

Disney Dream will start the summer with a 14-night transatlantic crossing from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida to Barcelona, Spain at start of May 2026.

Following that initial sailing, the Disney Dream will then depart from either Barcelona or Civitavecchia, Italy on seven-night to twelve-night Mediterranean cruises taking place May through August 2026. Stops on these popular cruises will include Santorini, Mykonos, Rhodes, and more.

The Disney Dream will finish out the season August through September 2026 with three-night to seven- night sailings out of Southampton, United Kingdom to Northern Europe and Norwegian Fjords with stops in Norway, Denmark, and United Kingdom.

The Disney Dream is one of my favorite Disney Cruise Line ships and ranks as one of the best even amongst the newest ships for many repeat cruisers.

Disney Cruises Departing from Florida

Castaway Cay

Disney Cruises that depart from Florida are always an easy way to access the start of a Disney Cruise Line experience. These cruises can also be combined with a Walt Disney World trip especially if you are traveling out of Port Canaveral, Florida which is just an hour away from the resort!

There will be three different Disney Cruise Line ships departing Port, Canaveral: Disney Wish, Disney Treasure, and Disney Fantasy. This is an incredible lineup for the 112 cruises taking place from April to September 2026 with destinations in the Caribbean and Bahamas. Guests can pick from a variety of 3-night to seven-night experiences with the longer itineraries taking place on the Disney Treasure, Disney's newest cruise ship which is home to the viral Haunted Mansion bar.

Disney's private islands, Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, are included on stops on most of these itineraries! Other stops include the British Virgin Isles, Jamaica, Mexico, U.S. Virgin Islands, and the Cayman Islands.

For guests looking to depart from Disney Cruise Line's newest cruise port in Fort Lauderdale, the new Disney Destiny will offer two seven-night itineraries to the Eastern and Western Caribbean. The Disney Destiny will launch in November 2025 and visit Nassau, The Bahamas, Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.

For guests looking to experience this newest Disney Cruise ship next summer, these are the itineraries you should consider. But if you're looking for shorter trips on the Disney Destiny, there are also three-night and four-night cruises available next year.

Speaking of new Disney Cruise Line ships, next year also marks the first summer voyages for the Disney Adventure after it's first voyage December 2025. The Disney Adventure will offer three-night and four-night itineraries from the Marina Bay Cruise Centre Singapore from April through summer 2026.

Once we hit summer 2026, we are now looking at a Disney Cruise Line fleet that has been expanded to include eight ships! This is all part of Disney's plan to expand their cruise offerings as Disney Cruise Line continues to increase in popularity. If you haven't tried a Disney Cruise Line vacation yet, I urge you to do so!
