The Electric Mayhem, the iconic Muppets rock group, is headlining their biggest Hollywood concert ever, but of course, we’ve run into a problem. The band is nowhere to be found! This is the story that guests will be walking into as they experience the attraction.

Guests will be given a VIP tour of G-Force Records, the legendary rock and roll recording studio, which is now being run by The Muppets. The Muppets have taken over ownership of the studio with help from “real estate tycoon and owner of the Muppet Theatre, J.P. Grosse,” and guests will have to see how The Muppets have made these “hallowed halls” their own.

In the concept artwork released above, you can see how The Muppets have replaced the Aerosmith pre-show. Guests will see the Electric Mayhem jamming out in the studio along with the best audio engineers… the penguins! Scooter will also be nearby, trying to convince Electric Mayhem to stop jamming and get to the stage.

That’s the setup for the ride’s story: will they get to the concert on time?

We also got confirmation that the big guitar in the courtyard will be staying! It will receive a new look to match the Muppets overlay.

A new “vibrant and psychedelic design” will be at the bottom of the car (inspired by a classic Muppet car paint job), and the piano motif at the base will feature a golden key as a nod to a “certain far-out band leader.”
