The Boathouse Offers the Best Brunch View
The Boathouse is one of the most popular restaurants in Disney Springs, featuring fresh seafood and premium steaks. The restaurant overlooks Lake Buena Vista and has a great outdoor dockside patio. The Boathouse anchors its corner of Disney Springs with a bright, airy atmosphere. Large bay doors blur the line between indoors and outdoors, opening the main dining room and bar to a waterfront patio with tables stretching along the dock.

On the weekends, the restaurant features a great brunch menu with a mix of classic breakfast favorites and seafood-inspired dishes, including Eggs Benedict, shrimp and grits, and French toast.
The Boathouse is home to a fleet of vintage 1960s Amphicars and offers guided tours of the lake surrounding Disney Springs. With fewer than 400 Amphicars still believed to exist, Disney Springs is one of the only places where you can see these unique vehicles driving straight from land into the water. The Boathouse is one of our favorite spots for brunch, with a great lakeside view, at one of our overall go-to restaurants in Disney Springs. You can read our full review of The Boathouse here to see why it’s one of our preferred spots.
Summer House on the Lake Features Californian Vibe
Summer House on the Lake is themed after the atmosphere of a beach house, inspired by coastal ambiance with indoor and outdoor patios. The menu focuses on fresh, seasonal flavors with a popular weekend brunch menu.
The weekend brunch offers pancakes, breakfast burritos, avocado toast, and giant cinnamon rolls. They also feature a wide selection of brunch cocktails and coffee drinks.
The menu at this brunch spot offers a wide variety of options, especially plentiful vegetarian choices, which is impressive. The ambiance of the restaurant is always a favorite with my family. I like this style of decor, and it really does well to capture the beachy, Californian vibe it was inspired by. You can read our full review of this popular brunch spot here.
Bonus Summer House Cookie Bar
Summer House on the Lake also offers a grab-and-go Cookie Bar. I have heard people even compare these cookies to the popular Gideon’s Bakehouse, but with a far shorter line! The selection of cookies at the Summer House on the Lake Cookie Bar is extremely impressive, and you won’t have to worry about signing up for virtual queues or long lines.
Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ Remains Our Favorite Spot
Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ is widely considered one of the best restaurants in Disney Springs, serving Southern comfort food made with Florida-inspired ingredients.
Their popular weekend brunch, Rise & Shine Brunch, offers a great variety of favorites like fried chicken and doughnuts, biscuits and gravy, shrimp and grits, and house-made deviled eggs, alongside signature cocktails and mimosas. It’s not unusual to see fried chicken for brunch here, as this is Art’s Famous Fried Chicken. This chicken is buttermilk-brined for 24 hours before it’s fried up.
And you can’t have brunch without the Church Lady Deviled Eggs! I love the name here because it is true, church ladies make the best deviled eggs.
Moonshine might be too much for brunch, but the amazing moonshine selection here is great! You can also opt to purchase a flight to try all the flavors.

Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ has easily made it to the top of my list of favorite restaurants in Disney World. Between the amazing (and slightly dangerous!) moonshine options and iconic comfort food, you should not skip this dining experience. Whether you come for brunch or for their other menu, don’t skip it.
