Summer House on the Lake features lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch options with a menu that showcases garden fresh food, Californian-style cuisine and seasonal ingredients. Options include salads, sandwiches, pizzas and more plus a full brunch menu on weekends.
I visit Walt Disney World frequently and visit Disney Springs on every trip. Summer House on the Lake Overview
Summer House on the Lake at Disney Springs features an indoor dining space plus an expansive outdoor patio with heaters so it works for all types of weather.

The interior offers such great ambiance. I loved the interior of this restaurant, I want my entire patio to look like this! They did great with the atmosphere in this restaurant and really fits the ambiance of what you'd imagine a perfect weekend brunch to be.
Summer House on the Lake Menu
Weekend brunch is served Saturdays and Sundays from 9AM to 2PM. The brunch menu includes traditional favorites like pancakes, bacon, eggs plus breakfast burritos, breakfast tostadas and more.
The lunch and dinner menu features a large variety of fresh foods like pizza, sandwiches, salads, veggies, tacos and more. This is one of the most diverse menus I've seen at Disney Springs so there is truly something for everyone.
Summer House on the Lake Review
During my visit to Summer House on the Lake at Disney Springs I enjoyed the popular brunch menu which offered traditional favorites plus breakfast tostadas.
First I started with a mocha latte and it was delicious. I am a bit of a coffee snob and I appreciated the quality of this latte!
The pancakes were fluffy and grilled to perfection. It's hard to mess up pancakes!
One of the hits for our breakfast brunch were the house made cinnamon rolls. These were perfect and a popular choice at Summer House on the Lake.
The hash browns were served like patties and were crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside. These were great!
Since I am a vegetarian I did not try the bacon but everyone in our group enjoyed it!
The short rib hash featured eggs, caramelized onions, hash brown and ribs.

Summer House Cookie Bar Review
One of the most exciting additions that Summer House on the Lake brings to Disney Springs is the grab and go Cookie Bar. I have heard people even compare these cookies to the popular Gideon's Bakehouse but with a far shorter line!
The selection of cookies at the Summer House on the Lake Cookie Bar is extremely impressive and I can see why some are saying these options rival Gideon's Bakehouse. And since the demand is not so high (yet) you won't have to worry about signing up for virtual queues or long lines.
We sampled some of the cookies during our visit and they were delicious. They were all soft and moist but packed with flavor. These are excellent cookies and making a stop at the Cookie Bar might now be added to my list of Disney Springs traditions.
Overall, I enjoyed my experience at the Summer House on the Lake. The menu is so diverse and offers such a wide variety of options, especially plentiful vegetarian choices, which is an impressive feat. The weekend brunch is a great offering and one that is already extremely busy so make sure to grab you reservations in advance. The ambiance of the restaurant itself really knocked it out of the park for me, I like this style of decor and it really did well to capture the beachy, Californian vibe it was inspired by.
