Best Disney Springs Restaurants RANKED 2024. We’ve Tried All!

The Disney Springs complex offers plenty for a Walt Disney World guest to do. With over 50 different Disney Springs restaurants, how do you choose? This resource will describe the best Disney Springs restaurants.

I have personally eaten at every Disney Springs restaurant. I love Disney Springs. We love food, so Disney Springs makes an excellent place for a food lover to visit. With over 20 table-service dining options and a new one arriving this year, the average Walt Disney World guest may only experience a small sampling of the quality dining options at Disney Springs.

Many restaurants at Disney Springs provide better service and food quality than the dining options within the four Walt Disney World theme parks.

On some Disney Springs visits, we enjoyed some great snacks, beverages, and excellent meals. However, we have also been disappointed with the food and drink at some Disney Springs options. We intend to point you toward the best Disney Springs restaurants in this resource. In other words, we hope you learn from our food and beverage mistakes.

Best Disney Springs Restaurants: The Basics

The Disney Springs complex at Walt Disney World takes up about 120 acres of property. That is almost the size of one of the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks. Disney Springs offers plenty to see and many areas to walk around. This property first opened back in 1975.

However, it became known as Disney Springs after several name changes and expansions. The facility includes four sections: Marketplace, The Landing, Town Center, and West Side. Buses and water taxis provide transportation between Disney Springs and other Walt Disney World Resort areas.

Though this entertainment and dining complex takes up a vast area, one notable advantage comes with Disney Springs. This facility offers free parking. Yes, free parking at Walt Disney World. This makes Disney Springs an ideal place to have a break day from the theme parks or enjoy a relaxing afternoon or evening during your vacation. We have been known to spend entire days at Disney Springs. Did we mention that we like food?

Disney Springs Dining

Speaking of food, many of the best dining options in the Orlando area can be found at Disney Springs. Table service dining options created by celebrity chefs such as Iron Chef Morimoto, Art Smith, Jose Andres, and Rick Bayless amaze diners. With over 20 table-service dining options, Disney Springs provides numerous opportunities for a relaxing meal.

Rainforest Cafe

At Disney Springs, themed dining targeting a younger demographic can also be found at Rainforest Café and T-Rex Café. Kids often love these restaurants. We will speak more about those places later in this resource.

Best Disney Springs Restaurants

Table service dining may not interest you, but Disney Springs offers various counter-service options to fit almost all cravings. The sweet tooth of your group can choose between Gideon’s Bakehouse, Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew, Salt & Straw, and Vivoli il Gelato before exploring even more sugary goodness at Disney Springs.

For a counter-service meal, you are always close to an option at Disney Springs. For fast-food-style counter-service dining, your choices range from Chicken Guy, Blaze Pizza, D-Lux Burger, The Polite Pig, and more. Disney Springs also has a food truck area serving various cuisine each evening.

For those just desiring a snack in between shops, Disney Springs offers what you want. Pizza Ponte, Wetzel’s Pretzel’s, Joffrey’s, Sunshine Churros, and Starbucks serve tasty snacks to recharge your batteries to keep you going.

How Do I Get to Disney Springs?

The Disney Springs complex resides near Interstate 4, making for easy travel directions. However, traveling on Interstate 4 presents many challenges in terms of traffic, in any case. However, if you take exit 67 and follow the signs, you will be taken directly to Disney Springs.

If you prefer, Disney Springs also has two drop-off areas for ride-share services, such as Lyft or Uber. If choosing to rideshare, ensure you know which pick-up and drop-off location you selected. The two places exist on opposite sides of Disney Springs.

If staying on-site at Walt Disney World, your transportation options avoid Orlando area traffic. All on-site hotels provide free transportation to Disney Springs. If staying at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort, Disney’s Old Key West Resort, Port Orleans Resort – Riverside, or Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter, boat transportation to Disney Springs exists. This boat transportation provides a pleasant, relaxing journey to Disney Springs. All other Walt Disney World Resort hotels offer bus transportation to Disney Springs.

Best Disney Springs Restaurants: Table Service

Best Disney Springs Restaurants

Table service dining at Walt Disney World offers many positives. Disney Springs provides almost every cuisine option possible. Nevertheless, advance dining reservations are highly recommended for table service dining. The need for advance dining reservations can be seen as a negative since you will need some planning for those.

The potential negative of planning your dining as much as 60 days in advance can take away some of the fun of your Disney vacation. Still, the need for reservations shows how desirable these restaurants are to enjoy.

Most Searched For Advanced Dining Reservations at Disney Springs

Thanks to data from the users of MouseDining, we know which Disney Springs restaurants are most searched for to acquire a reservation. In many cases, the most searched-for restaurants indicate the highest quality food. At the time of writing, the most searched-for Disney Springs table service restaurants are:

  • Chef Art Smith's Homecomin'
  • T-REX Cafe
  • The Boathouse Restaurant
  • Rainforest Cafe
  • Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant
  • Morimoto Asia

In contrast, the next Disney Springs table service restaurants make the easiest to acquire a reservation at the time of writing:

Best Disney Springs Restaurants

  • Maria & Enzo's Ristorante
  • Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill
  • Splitsville Dining Room (Disney Springs)
  • Terralina Crafted Italian
  • STK Orlando
  • Paradiso 37, Taste of the Americas.

Advanced dining reservations can be acquired via the My Disney Experience. Some Disney Springs restaurants use OpenTable for reservations also.

Best Table Service Dining

Best Disney Springs Restaurants

Shrimp and Andouille Mac & Cheese from The Boathouse (Promo Photo)

One could assume that the most desired table service restaurants would be the best choice. We propose that that assumption would need to be corrected. Having eaten at every Disney Springs table service dining option, we suggest the following restaurants as the best Disney Springs dining.

These options were selected based on food quality, service, and value for money. In other words, we acknowledge that higher-quality cuisine exists at Disney Springs. Still, we feel that some of the higher-quality alternatives fail to offer good value.

For example, Jaleo by Jose Andres provides some of the best food on the Disney property. Despite our incredible admiration for Jose Andres and all the charitable work he does, guests express paying too much to be still hungry afterward. Jaleo should be experienced, but it does not make our best Disney Springs restaurant list.

Having said all of that, the following six table service restaurants rank as the best for most people. Still, your group may have different needs and interests in terms of table service dining. We will cover some alternatives to these top six following this list.

#6 Paddlefish

This seafood restaurant looks like an actual steamboat. This steamboat anchored in Lake Buena Vista serves a lunch and dinner menu. Though Walt Disney World guests tend to review another seafood table service restaurant on this list higher, Paddlefish offers some excellent seafood, lunch options, steaks, and desserts.

The food quality at Paddlefish will show why we put this place on our list of best Disney Springs dining. The menu offers a wide variety of seafood options. If that does not sound good, Paddlefish makes some solid pork chops and steaks. In addition, one of the highest-rated vegetarian options at Disney Springs comes Paddlefish. The vegetarian pasta may not sound like much, but the flavors work well with that entrée.

The appetizer menu features crab cakes and crab-topped fries. We enjoyed both of those during visits to Paddlefish.

The lunch menu contains some more budget-friendly items. Based on our lunchtime visits, we suggest the Blackened Catfish Sandwich, Lobster Roll, and Caprese Sandwich. Also, the desserts here bring surprisingly good flavor for any sweet tooth.

#5 Frontera Cocina

In the first of our celebrity chef restaurants on this list, we visit Rick Bayless’ Frontera Cocina. This authentic Mexican restaurant presents some excellent examples of that style of cuisine. For those expecting Tex-Mex style food, a Rick Bayless restaurant will not be considered a good choice. Bayless built his reputation on Mexican cuisine.

For example, in an interview, Bayless said, “… Tex-Mex food covered with sour cream and guacamole. That's not Mexican food at all. Mexican food is incredibly varied and very regional.” In that same interview, he comments on how different regions of Mexico will have food that tastes nothing alike. Hearing Bayless say this, I visualize the difference in pizza across the United States.

Having said that, Frontera Cocina serves a highly elevated level of Mexican cuisine. On our visits here, we found the food excellent. You will see familiar menu items like flautas, tacos, and enchiladas.

Now, the price point for entrees and appetizers looks higher than expected. Some of that would be expected for a restaurant of this quality. We could rate this place one or two spots higher if the prices were lower.

Nevertheless, entrees like Chicken Tinga Tacos offer a good portion size. If you order chips and salsa, two people could easily share this entrée and appetizer.  The portion size of chicken for this price at a table service dining option exceeds expectations. We would have liked more, but realistically, a solid portion within an excellent preparation demands respect. The chicken offers all the expected flavors and is well prepared. With two sets of tortillas, You can create eight street-style size tacos.

Frontera Cocina offers an extensive alcoholic beverage selection. Weekday bar specials also attract crowds to this place.

#4 Morimoto Asia

Our second celebrity chef restaurant on the list builds on the skill of Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto. His unique expertise regarding Chinese, Japanese, and Korean dishes can be clearly seen at Morimoto Asia. This Disney Springs location also displays incredible beauty.

Though this restaurant costs a bit more than other options in Disney Springs, it is well worth it. In a previous review of this restaurant, we expressed that Morimoto Asia provides an upscale escape from the theme parks with incredible Asian food.

The service will be excellent here. You might even enjoy a pleasant view. Based on our trips to Morimoto Asia, we have never found anything we disliked on the menu.

During a most recent visit, we ordered the Edamame, Morimoto Spare Ribs, and the signature Morimoto “Buri-Bop.” The edamame tasted terrific and was seasoned well. Also, the portion size of the edamame appetizer easily feeds two or three.

The pork ribs have legendary status at Morimoto Asia. The glaze and meat quality amaze guests. These ribs rate as arguably the best on Walt Disney World property.

The “Buri-Bop” will be prepared right in front of you. This famous entrée shows off the Morimoto Asia style. Since Iron Chef Morimoto developed his craft as a sushi expert, this combination of Korean-style yellowtail fish served in a hot clay pot with rice and an egg yolk never ceases to amaze us. The staff at Morimoto Asia will prepare this in front of you and tell you the story of the creation of this dish by the Iron Chef.

For those desiring upscale Asian food, Morimoto Asia has many menu items for you to explore. This restaurant could compete as one of the best restaurants in any dining district.

#3 Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant

Best Disney Springs Restaurants

Like our upcoming top two best Disney Springs restaurants, Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant offer a great brunch menu on weekends. This lively Irish restaurant provides an extensive menu with something for everyone.

Raglan Road is known for live music and Irish dancing. Some guests feel this place offers dinner and a show. Some of those aspects lead to the higher price point for entrees and appetizers. However, dining at Raglan Road in the evening and on weekends will not be a romantic meal. The evening will be entertaining but possibly loud with music and dancing.

Though all the expected Irish standards can be found here, we continue to be amazed by the chicken entrees at Raglan Road. The use of Bell and Evans chicken breasts starts these entrées with significant advantages. Then, the chicken becomes well prepared for your enjoyment.

For example, Me Ma’s Best Chicken always impresses us. This entree consists of Roasted Bell and Evans chicken breast with a chicken, spinach, and wild mushroom leek pie as a side. Also, roast chicken jus, an herb stuffing crumble with champ mashed potato completes this entrée.

Raglan Road even creates a salad with chicken you will want more after experiencing it. “That Salad With Chicken” offers an incredible flavor for your taste buds. The chicken makes this salad. Nevertheless, even if you think buying an entrée salad would not be for you, we suggest sharing this with someone. Hopefully, they will not eat all of it before you enjoy it.

Raglan Road presents a fantastic evening of fun and food. If you are looking for a great entertaining night out, a reservation at Raglan Road should be in your future.

#2 The Boathouse Restaurant

Widely considered one of the best seafood restaurants in the Orlando area, The Boathouse provides excellent service and food. Also, this restaurant serves more than just great seafood.

In fact, this restaurant does most things well. The service receives high grades. The Boathouse is run by the well-respected Gibsons Restaurant Group, internationally celebrated for exceptional food and extraordinary service.

Gibsons Restaurants

Since several Gibsons Restaurant Group locations specialize in serving high-grade steaks, The Boathouse fits that pattern with some excellent steaks to go with the seafood entrée options. If you enjoy a great surf and turf-style meal, Boathouse makes a good choice at Disney Springs.

Best Disney Springs Restaurants

On previous trips here, we enjoyed oysters at The Boathouse. The raw bar options bring excellent quality for a restaurant not located on a beach.

For those seeking a more straightforward meal, The Boathouse has you covered. This place serves a great lobster roll, mahi sandwich, and even a good burger. Still, we miss the old burger that has been replaced with a good one but not as fabulous as the previous one. Oh, did we mention the rolls here? We could write 1000 words about the rolls.

Finally, one of the best weekend brunches happens at The Boathouse. In addition to the great food, you can enjoy entertainment and music at these weekend brunch events. The Boathouse at Disney Springs created a loyal following for so many reasons.

#1 Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’

Homecomin Disney Springs

The most searched-for advanced dining reservation at Disney Springs equals the best Disney Springs restaurant, in our opinion. Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ opened back in 2016. Since then, his southern comfort food restaurant has provided excellent hearty meals for Walt Disney World Resort guests.

The menu features fried chicken brined for 24 hours in buttermilk and hand-breaded. The extra time creates some of the best-fried chicken you have ever enjoyed.

Homecomin Disney Springs

Still, the menu does not stop with chicken. An excellent chopped pork barbecue plate remains popular on this menu. The Momma’s Mac and Cheese ranks as the best mac and cheese on Walt Disney World property. Do you enjoy fried green tomatoes or deviled eggs? If so, the appetizer menu here offers some of the best around.

Homecomin Disney Springs

Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ also serves some excellent moonshine. Yes, you read that correctly – moonshine. Five varieties of these alcoholic beverages are served at your table or the indoor and outdoor bar. You can even order a moonshine flight. If you choose to take on this challenge, please share with others or ensure you have two designated drivers.

Bar Area

Speaking of bars, the patio area at Homecomin’ creates a beautiful environment for guests. The views and service elevate this restaurant to a new level.

Though the weekend brunch here may not be as good as at The Boathouse, it is close to that level. Of course, the weekend brunch at Homecomin’ involves some chef Art Smith style and touches. The weekend brunch at Homecomin’ fills up quickly due to the high demand for its brunch items.

When you balance price point, food quality, and service, Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ wins in a tough battle over some excellent table service dining at Disney Springs.  Even if you dislike fried chicken and southern comfort food, Homecomin’ will have something for you.

Other Popular Disney Springs Dining: Table Service

Here are some of the other most popular Disney Springs Table Service options including two of the most searched-for reservations: Rainforest Café and T-Rex Café.

Rainforest Café and T-Rex Café

We will group these two Landry’s restaurants together. Both restaurants have some strong attributes. That explains why both constantly remain in the top five most searched-for dining reservations at Disney Springs.

Though not up to the top Disney level of theming, both restaurants utilize animatronics and other effects to create a themed environment for guests. The main reason to visit these restaurants revolves around kids.

Rainforest Cafe and T-Rex Cafe meet a huge need at Disney Springs. They each create a dining experience that most children enjoy. The audio-animatronics, the simulated storms, and other entertainment aspects make these two places good choices for dining with children. The kid's menu at both places offers more options than most Disney Springs table service options.

Now, that does not mean that taking a family with young children will be terrible at other Disney Springs table service options. Based on the dining environment at most of the other Disney Springs table service options, there will be less to keep the kids entertained there. T-Rex Cafe and Rainforest Cafe offer plenty to entertain (or distract) the younger kids. Also, guests can walk around and take in the theming of the interior of those restaurants.

Many kids love both places. However, do be advised that some children will find the noise level very upsetting. The simulated storms and loud animatronics cause some children to dislike this place due to over-stimulation. We have seen many children become far over-stimulated that these restaurants. However, you know your child or grandchild. You should be able to evaluate if these restaurants meet the needs of your group.

The food at both places compares to standard chain table services restaurants like Chili’s or Applebee’s. For the record, we enjoy the Orlando area version of those chain restaurants.

Either way, both of these table service restaurants fill up their advanced dining reservation spots quickly due to the demand of groups with younger children and those wanting themed dining. If you take a break day from the Walt Disney World theme parks to enjoy Disney Springs with younger children, these restaurants might meet your needs. You can read our review of the Rainforest Cafe to see why it's such a hit with families.

T-REX Restaurant at Disney Springs – Themed Dining Areas

Let's take a closer look at the multifaceted themed dining areas in the T-REX restaurant which offers an unique setting for families.

Undersea Exhibit

There are four uniquely themed seating areas at T-REX, The Undersea Exhibit features a sleek glowing bar beneath an enormous primordial cephalopod, large cylindrical coral reef aquariums filled with colorful marine life, and floating incandescent jellyfish suspended from the ceiling. Although we had hoped for a table inside the color-changing “Ice Cave,” we enjoyed our aquatic surroundings and found our location to be a fine vantage point for viewing the periodic special effects of the “meteor shower.”

We loved the bright colors and Neptunesque lighting in our dining area.

My kids were excited to observe the live coral reef residents in these beautiful tanks.

Fern Forest

Just around the corner, the seascape transitions into a lush fern forest filled with giant prehistoric insects and several iconic dino-robots, including a Triceratops with a coveted dining table built into the side of its body. We made a couple of trips to the restroom (because kids) and took our time coming back through the leafy Jurassic jungle to take in the sights and sounds in that area. Since the atmosphere is the main draw here, I recommend taking some time to tour the entire restaurant as you’re able, but take care not to hinder the staff as you explore.

T-REX Café has an educational component – informational plaques near each dino and insect identify the creatures by name and provide guests with fun facts.

The Meteor Shower Room

The restaurant's namesake stands tall and menacing at the center of the Meteor Shower Room, where the Milky Way decorates the ceiling, and the “Kitchen of Fire” casts a red glow on the craggy perimeter. Due to the number of animatronics, this is where the “meteor shower,” which occurs roughly every twenty minutes, is the loudest. Along with flashing lights and the crash of falling meteors, T-Rex and his… friends emit some fearsome roars that could be a bit of an assault on the senses for some people, especially after a day in the parks.

The Ice Cave!

The most impressive seating area is definitely the Ice Cave. You sit inside a prehistoric cavern with the intact skeletal remains of a Tyrannosaurus embedded in its glacial wall, watching the frozen stalactites fade from blue to purple each time a meteor shower threatens extinction.

The best seat in the house!

A view of the Ice Cave from the Fern Forest.

Victim of climate change?

Taking a restroom break here is an exciting adventure!

As you can see above, T-REX Restaurant offers great theming options for kids.

Paradiso 37, Taste of the Americas

Paradiso 37 has lasted at Disney Springs for a long time compared to other restaurants. This Disney Springs restaurant opened in 2009. Many things have changed at the Disney Springs complex since Paradiso 37 opened.

This table service option serves cuisine based on food from 37 countries (reason for the restaurant name) in North, South, and Central America. The menu leans towards Latin-style cuisine with chicken, steaks, flatbreads, and burgers.

STK Orlando

STK Orlando is a third-party restaurant with upscale dining throughout the world.

We love the weekday Wagyu Burger here for $10. Recently, we enjoyed a lunch filet with a side for $25. The weekend brunch menu contains a brunch burger that will not kill your vacation budget.  The “Happy Hour” deals during the week and late at night provide some excellent small plates for not much money.

The high-quality menu items at STK Orlando come with a price tag high even for Walt Disney World Resort. Unless a family of four is prepared to pay $300 (or more) for dinner, this place earns a low grade overall.

Best Disney Springs Restaurants: Quick Service

Everglazed Donuts and Cold Brew Burger

Using Disney terminology, quick service dining involves a few things to distinguish it from table service. Quick service restaurants are where you walk up to a counter, order and pay for your food, pick it up, and then take it to a table. This process may change slightly with mobile ordering, but counter service options do not involve wait staff.

Unlike table service dining, you cannot make advanced dining reservations. In other words, you can walk up to order food without making reservations in advance.

Before discussing some of the quick service options at Disney Springs, we must mention one anomaly to the table service and quick service categories at Disney Springs, Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar.

Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar

Best Disney Springs Restaurants

Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar qualifies as a lounge. You cannot make advanced dining reservations. However, this place offers many seating options for a cast member to wait on you and take your order.

This arrangement confuses some guests. They think it is table service at Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar. If you have ever visited this bar making an homage to the “Indiana Jones” movies, you will know that service does not run like a table service here.

However, we enjoy weekday happy hour deals from noon to 3:00 p.m. The menu at Jock Lindsey’s will not match a table service place. Still, some solid appetizers can be purchased here. This is a great location to enjoy a drink in an incredible themed setting.

Best Disney Springs Restaurant: Counter Service -The Polite Pig

Best Disney Springs Restaurants

Any discussion of the best Disney Springs dining should eventually make it to The Polite Pig. This barbecue place serves table service quality meals in a counter service format.

The Polite Pig offers tasty appetizers, salads, sandwiches, and any barbecue you can imagine. In this case, we will defer to the Michelin Guide to describe The Polite Pig.

Best Disney Springs Restaurants

The Butcher Board at The Polite Pig

The highly respected Michelin Guide wrote glowing words about The Polite Pig. They said, “If the name of this Disney Springs destination doesn't warrant your attention, its waterfront setting and soulful cooking will do the trick. The space is casual with an industrial vibe; guests may order at the counter or large, full-service bar to avoid a wait—et voilà —everything is magically delivered to your table. Exposed ductwork, a glassed-in kitchen and “farmer's market” sign put diners in the mood for rustic-meets-contemporary food, complete with condiments aplenty. Flavors are nuanced yet balanced in these dishes. Meat reigns supreme on the menu and there's no going wrong with the brisket—sliced thin, black pepper-rubbed and served with sides like creamy potato salad. Beers and cocktails, like the Texas tea, are available on draft.”

We could wax poetic about the quality of this place for hours. When you exit the Lime Garage and venture down the escalators, you can smell the barbecue flavor. All other counter service dining at Disney Springs wishes to be as good as The Polite Pig.

Best of the Rest of Disney Springs Restaurants: Counter Service

Disney Springs offers a few more excellent quick service options worth considering. In this case, deciding which ones are best comes down to your mood at the time. We suggest the following depending on your cravings while at Disney Springs.

4 Rivers Cantina Barbacoa Food Truck – If it were not for The Polite Pig, this option would have the best barbecue at Disney Springs. This food truck on the Westside of Disney Springs served tacos, burritos, taco cones, and bowls. The people behind the well-respected 4Rivers Smokehouse operate this food truck. With seating in the food truck area, this makes an enjoyable casual meal.

Local Green Orlando Food Truck – Also in the same Westside food truck area, Local Green Orlando Food Truck serves some excellent vegan, vegetarian, and pescatarian options. This food truck makes my first choice when visiting Disney Springs and choosing to dine vegan that day. Though it costs a bit more than standard quick service , no quality drop-off compared to non-vegan items happens.

Pizza

Blaze Fast-Fire'd Pizza and Pizza Ponte – These two pizza options would make most people’s list of best pizza at Walt Disney World Resort. Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza is a third-party pizza place that may be near your city. For those looking for unique pizza, Blaze Pizza can handle that. In addition, they offer gluten-free and vegan options.

Pizza Ponte serves pizza by the slice. This location offers the best pizza by the slice at Walt Disney World Resort. Also, you receive large slices for under $8.

Morimoto Asia Street Food – Morimoto Asia Street Food does not offer the same quality or variety as the table service option. However, you can order the ramen bowls and the ribs from this pickup window. The taste of those comes close to the table service versions. Also, the seating nearby makes a pleasant environment to relax and enjoy.

Everglazed Donuts and Cold Brew- This donut shop serves more than just sweet treats. You can order sandwiches, burgers, and fries. In fact, this counter service location makes burgers equal to D-Lux Burger, also located at Disney Springs. We tell people to imagine one of Chef Art Smith’s restaurants making burgers, and you have the burgers at Everglazed. Since Everglazed Donuts and Cold Brew is operated by the same company as Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’, the connection is easy to make.

Best Disney Springs Restaurants: Snacks

Best Disney Springs Restaurants

Sometimes all you need is a snack to keep you going while at Disney Springs. Whether you need a recharge to keep shopping or want a snack to hold you over before your table service dining reservation later in the day, Disney Springs serves plenty of good snacks. We will list the best of them.

Gideon’s Bakehouse

This very popular cookie and cake shop changed the landscape of snacks at Disney Springs. Since opening in 2021, this location has created long queues to buy cookies, cakes, cold brew coffee, and merchandise at Gideon’s Bakehouse.

According to the Disney Springs Gideon’s Bakehouse staff, they must use a virtual queue on weekends and some weekdays since the line for their products stretches a long way. Even though another Gideon’s Bakehouse location exists in Orlando’s East End Market area, the Disney Springs location draws a big crowd. You can see everything you need to know about how to get the extremely popular Gideon's Bakehouse cookies at Disney World in our guide.

Why would people wait in line for cookies and cakes? In simple terms, these almost half-pound cookies taste lovely. The cakes might be better. Some guests feel Gideon’s Bakehouse products are overrated. However, most gladly pay $6 per cookie and $9 per slice of cake.

Supplies run out on busy days, demonstrating the demand for Gideon’s Bakehouse cookies. Everything is made fresh at Gideon’s Bakehouse.

The options for sweet snacks at Disney Springs are vast. With Everglazed Donuts and Salt & Straw Ice Cream to start with, it takes some time to enjoy all the treats at Disney Springs. However, Gideon’s Bakehouse shines as the best sweet snack at Disney Springs.

For more excitement, each month, Gideon’s Bakehouse involves the release of a new limited-time cookie and cake. With social media groups built around the fandom of Gideon’s Bakehouse, your next trip to Disney Springs should involve a stop there.

Best Gluten-Free and Vegan Snack Disney Springs: Erin McKenna’s Bakery NYC

Erin McKenna’s Bakery NYC provides a refuge of sugar-filled treats for those with specific dietary concerns. These treats range from donuts, scones, bagels, and cinnamon rolls to ice cream cookie sandwiches. If someone in your group feels left out when others indulge in dessert, a trip to Erin McKenna’s Bakery NYC may be in order.

The prices will look high. However, as Steve Lewis, the owner of Gideon’s Bakehouse, reminds customers, it takes more expensive ingredients to make a solid vegan or gluten-free dessert. Lewis stated that to make one of his cookies vegan or gluten-free would cost almost double. He is not willing to do that. Erin McKenna provides that option since so many people have dietary concerns.

The Daily Poutine

Best Disney Springs Restaurants

Disney Spring offers many standard snacks you can find in your hometown. Starbucks and Wetzel’s Pretzels serve as examples of this. The safest and most consistent savory snacks at Disney Springs come from The Daily Poutine. Though residents of Canada will scoff at these versions of poutine, the flavor overall earns consideration.

Guests should expect some cheesy goodness on top of fries for Canadian comfort food. This stand offers variations on the classic Canadian poutine. The Daily Poutine uses yucca fries or thick-cut fries with these creations. The toppings of cheese curds and gravy make this snack work. However, do not tell your personal trainer you ordered from here.

In addition to the traditional style topped with beef gravy and cheddar curds, The Daily Poutine makes Latin, Italian, and French versions of poutine. In case you were wondering, beer and a Canadian alcoholic slushie can be purchased here also for those 21 years or older.

For many people, food makes the vacation. Disney Springs continues to be a place for lovers of food to visit. Trying every dining option at Disney Springs would take a long time. We know since we have tried every dining option at Disney Springs. With menus changing almost daily, Disney Springs never gets old for people looking for the best dining.
