Disneyland regularly updates its seasonal hotel offerings to keep things fresh and exciting for guests staying on property. A new set of perks is rolling out this month, joining previously announced summer benefits.
Special perks are available in June 2026 for guests staying overnight at Disneyland Hotel, Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, and Pixar Place Hotel. Make Your Own Washcloth Animal
One of the most charming parts of a day spent at Disneyland is returning to your hotel room to a towel animal or washcloth animal waiting for your arrival, placed there by a housekeeping cast member.

Disneyland Hotel guests can learn how to make their own washcloth animal, then keep their creation, during special classes this month.
The washcloth animal lessons will take place in the Disneyland Hotel Discovery Den on June 3, 10, 17, and 24, 2026, at 9:30 AM.
Pixar Character Appearance
Pixar Place Hotel often hosts live appearances from characters you can’t see anywhere else. Joe Gardner from Soul visits the hotel to serenade guests with his exceptional piano skills.
Mr. Gardner appears near the lobby staircase at Pixar Place Hotel on select days throughout June. Disney says to check the hotel activities calendar for dates and times, but none are currently listed. We recommend that interested guests ask cast members at the Pixar Place Hotel front desk for Joe’s set times.
Drawing Class
Guests can learn how to draw a favorite Disney character during a free class. All budding animators get to keep their artwork.
Classes take place at The Sketch Pad Café in Pixar Place Hotel on June 3, 10, 17, and 24, 2026, at 1:30 and 2:30 PM.
The classes at Pixar Place Hotel operate in addition to the free classes at Animation Academy in Disney California Adventure, which take place all day long, daily.
Friendship Bracelets
Guests can make their own friendship bracelets this month at select Disneyland Resort hotels. Disney provides all the supplies for the activity.
Friendship bracelet-making will be available in the Disneyland Hotel Discovery Den on June 6, 13, 20, and 27, 2026, at 4 PM. The craft will also be available on the Third Floor Landing of Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa on June 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30, 2026, at 7 PM.

New Pixar Art Gallery
Toy Story 5 will be released in theaters on June 19, 2026. To celebrate, the Art of Pixar Gallery at Pixar Place Hotel is displaying concept artwork and visual development sculptures from the film’s creation all month.
Guests can stop by any time and browse at their leisure.
This gallery replaces the previous exhibit showcasing artwork from Hoppers.
Outdoor Movie Nights
Disney previously announced that movie nights were coming to Disneyland Hotel and Pixar Place Hotel, and now we know which movies will be screened and when.
Guests can watch 2008’s Camp Rock at the Disneyland Hotel Frontier Lawn on June 3, 10, 17, and 24, 2026, at 8 PM. This is a fun choice to get ready for Camp Rock 3, debuting later this summer on Disney Channel and Disney+.
Guests can enjoy 2021’s Luca at the Pixar Place Hotel Third Floor Pool Deck on June 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29, 2026, at 8 PM. Taking place in seaside Italy, Luca is a perfect choice for a summer evening movie.
Previously Announced Perks for Summer
All of the events described above are in addition to the year-round amenities of staying at a Disneyland Resort hotel, including one free Lightning Lane reservation, as well as the previously announced perks for the summer.
