Disney World is Opening 3 Experiences Next Week New for Summer

Walt Disney World is focusing on families with young children this summer, and Disney’s approach includes new hotel perks for kids and a slate of new theme park experiences with kids in mind.

Three new and returning character experiences open at Disney World next week, including the highly anticipated debut of Bluey. We got a sneak peek of all three experiences, and we’re excited to share what we learned, along with some of the new food we tried. Mickey Visit brings you the latest Disney news and planning resources, including a viral Disney World treat you’ve got to try and cute new Loungefly bags inspired by Disney rides.

Sneak Peek of New Disney World Character Experiences

Cool KIDS’ SUMMER takes place at Walt Disney World in Florida from May 26 through September 8, 2026. This campaign debuted in 2025 and returns this year with more opportunities to play with Disney characters beyond the typical photo-and-autograph routine.

During a media event, I got a sneak peek of three character experiences debuting on May 26. During the preview, Disney presented a glimpse of each experience one at a time in the same venue. When they debut for the public, they’ll each be at a different location.

Bluey dancing

Bluey’s Wild World at Conservation Station opens at Disney’s Animal Kingdom on May 26. This marks the Disney World debut for the highly popular preschool characters Bluey and Bingo, following their arrival at Disneyland earlier this year. Guests can join the sisters for games from the series, like Keepy Uppy and Magic Asparagus.

Bluey and Bingo will roam around a dance floor inside Conservation Station to interact with guests while a microphoned cast member leads the activities. Guests are encouraged to snap quick selfies with Bluey and Bingo as they dance.

When it first opens, the only way to access Bluey’s Wild World at Conservation Station will be through a virtual queue. Learn about the Bluey virtual queue process here.

Fairy Bread Cake

Outside of Bluey’s Wild World, guests can find Bluey-inspired treats elsewhere throughout Disney’s Animal Kingdom. During the media event, I tried the Fairy Bread Cake, a vanilla birthday cake dipped in white chocolate and served with raspberry dipping sauce. This tasted like the sugariest cake pop ever. It will be available at Pizzafari on Discovery Island. See all the Bluey snacks coming.

Unlike the other two character experiences described below, Bluey’s Wild World will stick around after the September 8 conclusion of Cool KIDS’ SUMMER.

Woody and Jessie

Jessie’s Roundup: A Rip-Roarin’ Revue! opens at Magic Kingdom on May 26. This will take place inside The Diamond Horseshoe, which has temporarily paused its table service dining for the summer.

In Jessie’s Roundup, Jessie, Woody, and Bullseye, along with a live cast member with a guitar, lead guests in songs and dancing. Jessie and Woody wear their new accessories from Toy Story 5: Jessie with her sheriff’s badge that Woody bestowed on her at the end of Toy Story 4, and Woody with his red poncho.

At the media event, Jessie and Woody led everyone in a sing-along of You’ve Got a Friend in Me. Both Jessie and Woody had speaking roles, though they sounded like Disney’s usual sound-alikes rather than Joan Cusack and Tom Hanks.

GoofyCore returns to EPCOT for its second summer on May 26. This is a Goofy-themed takeover of CommuniCore Hall, the flex space that opened in 2024 at the center of World Celebration behind Spaceship Earth.

Goofy and his squad of cast member helpers play games with guests, kind of like the ones you remember playing in P.E. class growing up or during indoor recess. During the preview, Goofy brought his limbo stick and invited us to join the line.

Gawrsh Worms Everywhere Cake

GoofyCore also includes a snack window called GRAB-N-GOOF. I got to try one of the items that will be served at this location, the Gawrsh! Worms Everywhere Cake. It’s a chocolate cake with chocolate ganache, cookies and cream pieces, and gummy worm candy. It’s like a lava cake, but not warm. See the full GRAB-N-GOOF menu here.

Here’s a look at what Bluey’s Wild World at Conservation Station, Jessie’s Roundup: A Rip-Roarin’ Revue!, and GoofyCore will look like once they’re in their respective venues at each park:

More New Attractions Opening on the Same Day

Electric Mayhem band

In addition to the character experiences described above, a handful of other new attractions open at Walt Disney World on May 26, 2026.

At EPCOT, Soarin’ Across America takes guests on a simulator hang-gliding flight above the United States.

At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets invites guests to a music-filled ride on Disney World’s only upside-down roller coaster, permanently replacing the previous Aerosmith version. Also at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live! brings the popular preschool series to the stage.

See more about all the new attractions opening on this same day.

Just opened at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, a new version of Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run features the Mandalorian and Grogu. We rode this multiple times and saw how all the ride positions work.
