This summer, fans of “The Incredibles” won’t only be treated to the sequel in theatres coming out in June — they’ll also have the chance to experience California Adventure’s Incredicoaster. As part of the Pixar Pier revamp, the new ride will be the longest and fastest rollercoaster in Disneyland.
Today, the Disney Parks blog revealed what the new ride’s train cars will look like: the bright red cars seat four people each and are complete with the iconic “Incredibles” logo on the front.

The Incredicoaster will take riders on a 1.125-mile steel track winding throughout Pixar Pier. It’ll feature favorite superheroes from the “Incredibles” movies, and a combination of lighting, music and special effects designed to fully immerse riders in the “Incredibles” experience.
Disney Imagineering Producer Jeffrey Shaver-Moskowitz said that the story of the ride features the Incredibles family on a journey to save their young baby, Jack Jack. Each superhero gets to display their specific power throughout the ride.
The ride is a revamp of the “California Screamin'” ride that was previously in California Adventure. It’ll maintain the original ride’s 360-degree loop but will feature a new launch system that’ll take riders from zero to 55 mph in four seconds.
The coaster will also feature a new score by Michael Giacchino, inspired by the soundtracks for “Incredibles” and “Incredibles 2.”
