NEW Disney Vacation Club Member Lounge Coming to Disneyland – Opening Date Announced!

Disneyland has announced that a new Disney Vacation Club Lounge will open on April 19, 2023!

The “Disney Vacation Club Star View Station” will occupy part of the second floor of the Star Wars: Launch Bay building in Disneyland Park’s Tomorrowland. The new Disney Vacation Club lounge, inspired by Walt Disney’s vision for the future, will mix modern and retro in a space that features relics like the Space Station S-1 Model from the “Disneyland” series and the K7 Space Suit that Disneyland’s Tomorrowland Astronauts wore.

Disneyland DVC Lounge Perks

Disney Vacation Club (DVC) members will find plenty of casual seating in the sleek space, as well as complimentary Wi-Fi, device-charging stations, and more. A dedicated Disney Vacation Club Member Services team will also be on-site to assist guests.

While the perk of having access to DVC lounges isn’t necessarily new, this is the first one to be brought to the Disneyland Resort. Other locations include the Top of the World Lounge atop Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort and the Member Lounge inside the iconic glass pyramid of the Imagination! pavilion at EPCOT, both at the Walt Disney World Resort.

The Disney Vacation Club provides a number of great perks for their members that go beyond the points system to reserve lodging at Disney resorts around the world. These exclusive in park lounges are just one of the offerings. There are also special events and even a Disney Vacation Club member cruise with the Disney Cruise Line.

The lounge is set to open on April, and valid theme park admission and reservation is required to access the space.

The lounge comes as the Disney Vacation Club is expanding at the Disneyland Resort. The Disneyland Hotel will be home to a new twelve story Disney Vacation Club tower. The tower name will be “The Villas at the Disneyland Hotel”. Read more about the new Villas at the Disneyland Hotel.

  1. Wow! I’d love to have my DVC home resort at Disneyland. Alas, the new Tower being built at TDH is still TOO FAR to walk for my preference. That’s why it’s GCH or nothing at all for us. Question: will they be serving adult beverages in this DVC Tomorrowland Lounge? (that could easily sway me towards DVC membership again.)
