Egg-stravaganza Scavenger Hunt in EpcotEgg-stravaganza scavenger hunt

Every year the Egg-stravaganza Scavenger Hunt takes place in the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival starting on March 13, 2023, while supplies last. The event is typically available through Easter.

Guests enjoying the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival can participate in the Egg-stravaganza Scavenger Hunt in the World Showcase for eggs portraying Disney characters. As guests find the hidden Disney eggs, they can record the findings on a specialty map.

Easter at Walt Disney World- Easter Egg DisplaysEaster Treats and Eats at Walt Disney World Resort

Walt Disney World puts on large Easter egg displays at the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Beach Club, and Contemporary Resort.

The Easter egg displays typically stay up until the Monday or Wednesday after Easter, depending on the resort. Last year the displays at the Grand Floridian and Yacht and Beach Club were taken down on the Monday after and the display at the Contemporary was taken down on that Wednesday.

The chocolate eggs are sculpted, painted, and ornately decorated by the talented pastry teams at each resort. Here is a sampling of some of the best Easter egg displays we’ve seen at Walt Disney World over the years!

Easter Egg Display at Disney’s Beach Club Resort Lobby

This display is available March 20 through April 9th. This year’s display was inspired by the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival and Pixar’s Finding Nemo when Pastry Chef Michael Craig created the display. Based on last year’s display, which featured Ursula and Stitch, I imagine this will be just as impressive!

Easter Egg Display at Disney’s Contemporary Resort (available on the 4th floor)

This display is available through April 9th. Pastry Chef Jeff Barnes and his team created designs this year that include inspiration from Tron, The Nightmare Before Christmas, and a Mickey Mouse Popcorn Bucket!

Easter Egg Display at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa Lobby

This display is available through April 9th. This is one of the ‘grandest’ displays of Easter eggs at the Walt Disney World resort so if you only make time to see one Easter egg display, this will be the one to see!

The team at this resort has created a display of eggs that feature Orange Bird, The Country Bear Jamboree, Main Street Electrical Parade, and even a life-sized Kevin from “UP!”

This year the team didn’t quite finish one of the most intricate eggs in time so they setup a station where culinary Cast Members actually work on the Walt Disney World Easter egg on display in the lobby.

The Grand Floridian also offers The Grand Cottage for Easter which is a pop up location featuring a huge assortment of hand-crafted treats like Hot-cross buns, chocolate Easter eggs, and more!
