Disney’s New Princess and the Frog Ride Exterior Revealed as All Walls Come Down

Tiana's Bayou Adventure is one of the most highly anticipated ride reimaginings we've ever seen at Walt Disney World and Disneyland. As we get closer to the official opening date at Walt Disney World, we are getting more and more information about this attraction like a full reveal of the Tiana's Bayou Adventure finale scene after the drop!

Tiana's Bayou Adventure features numerous brand new state of the art audio-animatronics, returning voice actors from the films, and new musical scores. This retheme of Splash Mountain has been done with extreme care and dedication by Walt Disney Imagineering.

Now it appears that construction at Tiana's Bayou Adventure at Walt Disney World is complete with walls coming down and the brand new attraction sign REVEALED. Tiana's Bayou Adventure Opening Date

The nighttime lighting of Tiana's Bayou Adventure at Magic Kingdom Park.

Tiana's Bayou Adventure opens on June 28th at Walt Disney World and later this year at Disneyland. Before the attraction officially opens, there will be multiple preview events for annual passholders, DVC members, a D23 ticketed event (sold out) and media events.

You can expect a whirlwind of information on Tiana's Bayou Adventure leading up to the opening date!

New Tiana's Bayou Adventure Sign Reveal

The construction walls are now DOWN at Walt Disney World for Tiana's Bayou Adventure! This likely means all major construction is now complete ahead of the upcoming preview events for this highly anticipated ride.

We have the first new look at the main attraction sign for Tiana's Bayou Adventure and it is absolutely stunning! The color scheme fits nicely with all the other shades of purples, blues, and greens present in the attraction.

Signage has also gone up around Magic Kingdom directing guests towards the new Tiana Bayou Adventure.

Now that the construction walls are removed, we can get a much closer look at the details in the exterior of Tiana's Bayou Adventure.

We can now see the exterior of the ride in far more detail like the water wheel above!

You can also clearly see more of the signage for the theme of the attraction.

From this angle you can see the water lilies in the water and how the greenery ties the theme of the bayou together.

When we extend the shot you can see the full scope of the attraction including the classic drop which remains an integral part of the attraction!

A wider zoom out shows more of the greenery and water lilies. This is absolutely stunning!

From this angle we can see a fuller view of the water tower and how guests will past by it in the classic log boats.

A closer look at the entrance back into the attraction for the grand finale after the big drop. I love how key elements remain, like that little waterfall to the right that splashes you as you wait to reenter the inside of the mountain!

A close up of the banner shows a familiar phrase that many Disney fans should be familiar with. This banner appears to reference a famous line from Walt Disney from Disneyland's opening day speech, “To all that come to this happy place, welcome.”

We also have a closer look at some of the critters we can see in the exterior of the attraction including this close up of two frogs which look strikingly similar to Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen in their frog forms!

But my favorite reveal out of everything today is this closer look at this new critter character introduced to Tiana Bayou Adventure- Lari the armadillo!
