We're getting closer and closer to the opening of Tiana's Bayou Adventure at Disney World, and excitement for the attraction is building as Disney continues to release details and sneak peeks of what we can expect from the attraction!
In the second episode of the Walt Disney Imagineering series “We Call It Imagineering” on YouTube, Disney has shared several glimpses into the inside of the attraction. Previously, in the first episode, they gave us a detailed look at the beautiful animatronics that will be featured in the ride.
Keep reading for an exciting first look at some major parts of the attraction, including the finale! Disney has revealed a HUGE chunk of this attraction including the brand new finale scene that is totally new to us.

Disney Gives Glimpse Into Tiana's Bayou Adventure
In the Walt Disney Imagineering video, we surprisingly got a look at several moments from the inside of the ride! Here is one of the Tiana animatronics wearing her new outfit for the attraction:
In the video, we also got a glimpse of the first drop of the ride, which almost looks like it has a psychedelic feel to it!

We also see a scene in the video that we're not sure about the context of. Tiana appears to be peering into the scene via projection as guests float through a scene with giant glowing mushrooms.
Here is a glimpse at a Mama Odie animatronic from the attraction beside a plate of beignets:
And last but not least, a huge moment that was revealed in the video was the finale scene of Tiana's Bayou Adventure! The final song of the attraction, “Special Spice,” is playing during this scene.
This final scene looks stunning! We love all of the vibrant colors here and the beautiful lighting. Several characters are featured in the scene, and it looks like a really awesome moment of celebration!
PJ Morton, the Grammy-Winning Artist, Musician, and Composer who wrote the song, said, “We knew we wanted a celebration, we knew that we wanted something that would welcome people in.”
Anika Noni Rose, Disney Legend and voice of Tiana, commented in the video that “it’s a free, happy, bouncy song to take you on this journey.”

We also got a fun closer look at Tiana in her new outfit alongside Louis and some of the other critters of the bayou playing their musical instruments as well!
We will save our bigger reviews of the attraction until we have actually ridden it as I suggest everyone does. We know that this attraction will be discussed quite a bit online for a number of reasons. From what we saw today, the replacement of Splash Mountain delivers with the Audio-Animatronics that we were promised and a cute new song.
