Universal Orlando Announces Ticketed Halloween Horror Nights Preview Event

Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando and Universal Studios Hollywood is the best theme park Halloween event for adults. Halloween Horror Nights features premium haunted houses created with Hollywood style special effects and professional scare actors.

Many of these haunted houses focus on popular franchises which in the past has included Stranger Things and The Last of Us which can only increase the popularity of this event. It is not uncommon for lines for popular haunted houses to reach multiple hour long waits.

In response to this demand, Universal Orlando has announced a NEW premium ticketed preview event that will allow guests to experience Halloween Horror Nights before it opens with limited capacity and shorter wait times.

Universal Orlando Halloween Horror Nights

Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando kick off at the end of August and runs through the first few days of November. This year is the longest run we've ever seen at Universal Orlando as they try to meet the demand of this popular event.

Universal Orlando Halloween Horror Nights 2024 Dates

• August: 30-31
• September: 1, 4-8, 11-15, 18-22, 25-29
• October: 2-6, 9-13, 16-20, 23-27, 30-31
• November: 1-3

Guests can purchase regular admission which starts at $79 per person and tickets with Express Pass access for the haunted houses that start at $129 per person.

Halloween Horror Nights Premium Scream Night

For the first time, Universal Orlando is offering a premium preview event for the biggest Halloween Horror Nights fans. This new premium preview event takes place on August 29th for one night only before the first night of Halloween Horror Nights begins.

Halloween Horror Nights Premium Scream Night offers guests access to the event before it officially opens to the public with limited capacity and shorter wait times. The event includes access to the 10 new movie-quality haunted houses and five scare scenes each themed to different creatures and horror themes. Access to the haunted houses will be staggered by group entry so the pacing will match up nicely with the jump scares in the houses.

The event also includes a selection of all you can enjoy food items inspired by this year's haunted houses along with non-alcoholic beverages, an exclusive event souvenir credential and lanyard, access to select attractions at Universal Studios Florida, and free self parking.

Halloween Horror Nights Premium Scream Night Preview Event Pricing

Since this is a premium event, it comes with premium pricing! To access this exclusive preview event with lower capacity, shorter lines, and included food offerings, guests will need to purchase tickets for $350 per person, plus tax. Universal Annual and Seasonal Passholders can purchase tickets for the discounted price of $325 plus tax.

Tickets are limited for this event to help control the capacity so I expect they will sell out quickly especially due to the popularity of Halloween Horror Nights. Tickets go on sale June 6th.
